Immigration Resettlement: A Literature Review

Immigration has been crisis whole over the world, by people run their own
countries because of the war that is with in. Many refugees that ran their own
countries because of the conflict and wars. According to UNHCR resettlement
program. United State is the worlds top resettlement country, while Australia,
Canada and the Nordic Countries also provide a sizeable number of place
annually ( UNHCR). UNHCR had files over 132,000 refugees for the
consideration of resettlement while in Refugees Counsel USA have the admission
of 250,000 that will be displaced in Europe. Data from 29 European countries
show that the median share of immigrants refugees, recent migrants, as well as
long-time foreign-born residents while 12% of immigrant in Canada extent
achievement economic with people that were born in Canada. The number of

immigrant have increased in Europeans countries, but the people born in Canada
have helped the economic of the country to grow. Canadian immigrants born
despite issues of works and problem with workforces, but they still help through
the economy to grow.
Both United State and Canada have welcomed more that millions of people.

here in United State, The U.S. is once again becoming a country of immigrants.

Immigrant arrivals currently running about 1.25 million people per year
account for 40% of population growth nationally, and a much larger share in some
regions. While new comer in Canada, got opportunity for people to improve into
the economic, work experiences, and language issues.
In Refugee Counsel USA into their articles and in literature review,
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the U.S. further expanded its

programs such as helping victims USA have been help refugee, but
they have been countries that need of lifesaving protection throughout
the genocide, and violence. Both UNHCR and Refugees Council USA
have the same appeal by legal and physical protection, and help to
provide peace over the current countries that have wars .

Overall

through out the wars some country have number of people that were
torture included: The Democratic Republic of the Congo (20,527), Iraq

(11,161) and Somalia (10,193). Regarding to the Refuges Council USA, both
UNCHR and Refuges Council both agree with the number and percentage of
people being torture. In addition, 24 per cent of all submissions were Survivors
of Violence and Torture which is the highest percentage of the last six years.
