Communications Officer June 2016 Present Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness Halifax, NS Independently planned and organized ministerial event by developing communications material, preparing the minister and ensuring all logistical needs were met. Developed speaking notes for the minister and premier for an event with the federal minister of Health. Created several communication plans for events, announcements and strategies. Assisted with the development of marketing materials for MyHealthNS, a new online health records service recently announced.
