Phase B
Phase C
Method
Add phase A into a heat resistant glass beaker.
Prepare phase B by wetting the pigments: Adding titanium dioxide, emollient and colorant to the mortar.
Blend well using the pestle, until the color is uniform.
Transfer the pigments to phase A.
(When using color dispersions this step of wetting the pigments is not necessary and the pigments can directly
be added to phase A.)
Heat phase A/B to 168F/75C or until melted. Do not overheat.
Test the shade, adjusting colors if necessary.
Add phase C to phase A/B, blend well.
Make final adjustments to the color and flavor if necessary. How to darken color, add a bit more of Mica Luster
Black. If a lighter color is desired adding Pearl White Mica helps or increasing the amount of titanium dioxide
