"Linking Applications with
Mathematics and Technology "
The Asian Technology Conference in Mathematics (ATCM) was
founded by Professor Dr. Wei-Chi Yang in Singapore in 1995. The
series of conferences have been successfully held annually by vari-
ous institutions around Asian Pacific regions. This is the third time
ATCM being held in Malaysia (ATCM 1997 was hosted by USM and
ATCM 2002 was hosted by Multimedia University at Melaka). With
wonderful support from participants around the world as well as
software and hardware developers, the conference has created a
platform for all the scholars to exchange information in integrating
the evolving technological tools into teaching and research of
mathematics.
The conference will consist of plenary, special, and invited ses-
sions, short paper and poster sessions, and hands-on workshop
sessions on software and hardware relevant to mathematical
teaching. learning and research. Books, software and hardware will
also be on display.
It is not simply how well students can perform in a test, it is how
they can explore mathematics when technological tools are timely
adopted in teaching, learning and research, and expand their
mathematics knowledge horizon to a higher level. Come and join
us to see how mathematics can be linked to sciences and engineer-
ing through technology at ATCM 2010 with the theme of Linking
Applications with Mathematics and Technology. We sincerely
welcome all school teachers, university lecturers, researchers and
etc. to join us celebrating this special 15th anniversary of ATCM to
be held in Kula Lumpur.
Call for Papers
We invite you to submit original and unpublished work to the con-
ference for review. Each submission will be reviewed and the au-
thor(s) will be notified of recommendation by the International
Program Committee.
Important Notes
1. Papers should address the conference theme and to be written
in English.
2. Each full paper must have, in addition to the paper content, an
abstract, and no author information (just a title).
3. Each full paper will be reviewed and recommendation will be
sent to the author(s) before or no later than September 15, 2010.

Accepted abstracts and refereed Full Papers will be published at
the Proceedings of ISSN 1940-2279 (CD) and ISSN 1940-4204
(Online).
