Those wild and crazy memories that are mace m gh seo! wit stay wien you for the rest of yourlfe But what these troiions were broken? ‘The Infamous color day at Glenelg High Schoo is ‘the most important highlight ofthe most important ‘week of school forthe student, Crazy cothing, ‘ks hair and wacky colors appear in almost every ‘Sudent's wardrobe for ebch Gay of Spirt Week. Exctement lingers inthe air as everyone wats for the football game, parade, pep rally and dance. (On the last day of Spirit Week, the school unifes and cheers on our football team to hopeful ‘Vieory in our Homecoming game. Representing grades by afferent school colors has been @ tradition here for as long as anyone can remember. Student Paige claims, “Color Day has been 2 traction since my dad came here. Tht isthe one day we really show spi fr the School. Take It away and you take away years of tradition.” Teoging has always been the main concern during Spirt Week, Upper classmen enjoy smearing pant onthe under classmen to show their pride for the school Not al students use {he etal of tagging to ull or harass other students, While there may be some who do ths, the entire student Body should not be punished ora few students’ actions. Mr. Karl ‘Schindler, when asked about the tagging Issue, claimed he wanted to keep everyone safe. He also said thatthe Sk was buying every student inthe School tshirts with all of the school calor. although he doesnt have a problem with students wearing the previously known class colors, he would "ike to Invite students to Wear schoo!
