It is both and honor and a pleasure to write on behalf of DePaul University graduate Ms. Alyssa Fralich. I came to know Ms. Fralich in my capacity as her professor in the graduate teacher preparation program at DePaul University. Although she was a preservice teacher, I often felt she had the skills, insights, and expertise to teach the course. As a student, I found Ms. Fralich to be highly motivated, responsible, respectful, and a genuine collaborator with her peers and during field experiences with her cooperating teachers. Her preparation and planning were consistently outstanding. Her analysis and contributions to instruction brought a depth of insight and understanding that motivated new learning. As an individual, I have found Ms. Fralich to be a woman of great character, integrity, compassion, and empathy. She is also a visionary who is goal directed and ambitious. Having been a secondary classroom teacher, a principal and educator for over 30 years, I can say with complete confidence that Alyssa Fralich is bar far one of the most intelligent, insightful, dedicated and effective educators I have ever encountered. In particular, her knowledge of education, science, and her ability to integrate engaging instruction are remarkable. I give Alyssa Fralich my highest recommendation. Your school and science program will be enhanced by her professionalism, expertise in research, well developed content knowledge, and her engaging manner of instruction.
