Delhi State Legal Services Authority invites application from eligible Indian
Nationals for selection/appointnrent orl the post of Other Persons/Members,
Pernranent Lok Adalats (PIIS) established under Section 228, Ir,gal Services
Authorities Act, 1987 functional at Mata Sundri Road, ITO, New Delhi for a
periocl of 02 years as per the following ternrs & conditions :Terms & Conditions:

l. A person who is, or ltas been, in the emplolment of any Central or State
Electriciqr Authority or in Distribution Companies with experience of more
than 20 years in service and/or who has obtainecl selection grade or super

tinre scale in

the highest cadre in

the

concemed

l)epartment/Ilndertaking/Company/Pstl and conversant with technical

aspect of generation, distribution :rnd supply of electricity besides lying down
of the tarifl-s atrd assessment of bills or charges for consumption of electricity
and disputes arising there fiom;

The initial appointment fbr Other Person/Memlrcr shall be for 2 years only,
which shall be extendable at the cliscretion of the Hon'ble Executive
Chairman of the Delhi Srate Legal Services Authority for a further maximum
period of 3 years. l'hus the total period of office shall not exceed 5 years or
the attainnretrt of the age of 65, whichever is earlier and they shall not be
eligible for re-appointnrent.

'fhe terms zurcl conditions of service of Other persons/Members, Permanent

ternrs and conditions outlined in Permanent Lok Adalat (Other Terms and
Conclitions of Appointment of Chairpersons ancl other Persons) Rules, 2003
read with Permanent f,ok Adalat (Other Terms and Conditions of
Appointment of Chairpersons ancl other Persons) Rules, 2016 as amended
vide notification F. No. A-6001U1012012-Aclmn. III (I-A)/IAP 0tls) dated
22rd June, 2016 of Ministry of Law zurd Justice, Governnrent of India and
otlter relevant rules applicable

The sitting fee of other Persons/Members shall be Rs. 1i00/- per siming;

For the purl)ose of attending the sitting of PI-A the Other Person/Member
shzrll be entitled to Conveyance Allowance of rupees five thousand per
month.

7. TIte Other Person/Menrber befbre appointment

shall have to take an

undertakitrg that he does ancl will not have any such financial or other interest
as is

likely to aJl'ect pre.fudicizrlly his fturctions as such Other Person/Member.

B. If any, Other Person/Member, PtA (PUS) fails to.ioin within the stipulated
periocl, the Hon'ble lixecutive Chaimran, DSLSA shall be competent to
appoint any other persolr fionr the available waiting list of Other
Persons/Members.

applicant selectecl for the post <>f Other Person/Member shall submit the
statemetrt of property in detail befbre taking over charge within 10 days of
publication of the final selection list, failing which the appointment shall be

deenred czurcelled.
