TITLE SEQUENCE REMAKE

In todays lesson we will

1. Confirm which title sequence we will remake today
2. Make a quick shortlist / storyboard
3. Film the title sequence
4. Edit using Premier Pro

Selecting a title sequence & storyboarding

1.

Choose from the options:

Submarine
Collatoral
Gone Girl
Juno
Seven
Breakfast Club

You MUST have completed

your storyboard by 9.30am

2.

Make a quick shortlist / storyboard

2 people Screenshot EACH shot type

2 people write down the shots into the shot list
Drag and drop into the storyboard template and print out

Filming your title sequence

1.

You can film anywhere in college

2.

Make sure you have your props with you

3.

You must get your booking form signed and have your media card to book
out equipment

You MUST have completed your FILMING by 10.30

(10.45 at the very latest)

Editing your title sequence

You will create a NEW PROJECT in Premiere Pro called [REMAKE NAME] and
[GROUP NUMBER]
You MUST save this project to the VIDEO DRIVE and NOT the desktop

!Complete the following steps in this order when editing:

! 1. import your footage
! 2. cut using I and O and drag clips onto the timeline - use your
storyboard to help you

! 3. complete the sequence order BEFORE you add any transitions
! 4. add any transitions
! 5. add titles
! 6. add sound
!

Save your completed project

Export and save as a MOV file
Upload to Youtube and get an embed code
Embed to your blog in HTML

SAVE onto your Video Drive

EJECT the drive BEFORE
disconnecting

Complete half-term homework 1 - Individual Ideas

Create a blog post that notes down your own individual ideas about what
you would like to make for your own title sequence

Complete half-term homework 2 - Individual Influences activity

Make notes on the mind-map of all the different influences you have when
thinking about what you can do for your own title sequence
Create a prezi that replicates the mind-map
Provide visual examples of the influences you mention with screenshots
and embedded videos

Half-Term homework to be posted to

the blog by Sunday 30th October 6pm
