The Report Designer also enables you to use data from ODBC data sources in
the report or log.

The ODK provides among other things functions that can be used to list existing
archives, read data out of archives and insert data in archives. It is possible to
export data into "*.csv" files.

Connectivity Pack
(as from WinCC V6.0 SP1)

The WinCC/Connectivity Pack option provides among other things an OPC

server that supports the specification OPC Historical Data Access 1.1 (OPC
HDA). Using OPC HDA you can have read or write access to the WinCC
archive system. Using WinCC OLE DB it is possible to gain direct read access
to the archive data stored by WinCC in the MS SQL server database (process
values, messages and user data). Here you can even use statistics functions
(Minimum, Maximum, Average, Variance, for example). Here you can read data
from several archive variables simultaneously with one access. The results here
can be provided on request with a common time stamp and interpolated.
Notes
From WinCC V6.0 onwards, the process values of the Tag Logging FAST
archives are saved in compressed form. Direct access is possible via WinCC
OLE-DB or ODK.
From WinCC V6.2 onwards, the process values of the Tag Logging SLOW
archives are saved in compressed form.

WinCC Option
Industrial Data Bridge

The WinCC/Industrial Data Bridge options package is for simple

configuration/parameterization of the transfer of WinCC data (online data and
historical data) to third-party systems (other OPC servers or databases) and
back using standard software. Programming know-how is NOT necessary. Data
transfer can be transferred automatically at specific times or depending on
specific conditions. For example, the Industrial Data Bridge is used in
conjunction with WinCC to be able to read and write data from and to external
databases. Furthermore, you have the option of having read access to WinCC
archives (process value or message archives) and writing this data to a file or
database, for example. It is also possible to access WinCC user archives.

The WinCC/Data Monitor options package is used specially for end users who
wish to display process data (online, archives and alarms) or further analyze
this data with the powerful tools supplied. DataMonitor is a suite of different
evaluation applications.

WinCC Premium Add-on PMOPEN EXPORT

Central Archive Server
(as from WinCC V6.2)

The premium Add-on exports process values (archive and online values),
messages and User Archive data into an ASCII file(e.g. CSV-Format)
The WinCC/Central Archive Server (CAS) options packages permits you to
export to a computer the archive data of all the servers available in the system.
Data access is transparent for the display and analysis and continues to be
possible via the standard WinCC clients. Here, for the clients it does not matter
whether the data is still on the WinCC server or already on the CAS.
Both process value archives and message archives are created on the separate
WinCC servers and transferred to the CAS upon completion of the individual
database segments. Through "Store&Forward", even if the network is
interrupted between the WinCC server and the CAS, the data is transferred
securely as soon as the network is up and running again.

SIMATIC Process Historian

SIMATIC Information Server

The SIMATIC Process Historian option package enables the user to store
archive data of all available servers to an external computer. For displaying and
analysis, data access for online segments is transparent and is still possible e.
g. via standard WinCC clients. In this context, it is irrelevant for the clients
whether the data are still stored on the WinCC server or already on the
SIMATIC Process Historian.
Process value and message archives both are created on the individual WinCC
servers and transferred to the PH. The Store&Forward cache is used to back
up data and to transfer them securely between the WinCC server and the PH
as soon as the network is fully functional again.

The SIMATIC Information Server option package is a reporting system. It

enables the user to access both current and historical data. The historical data
consist of process values, alarms or recipe data. The collected data are
evaluated and visualized by means of reports. For report writing, the following
applications are available:
- Information Server web application
- Office Add-Ins for Microsoft Excel, Word

1) From WinCC V7.0 onwards you can export all or selected Runtime data to a CSV file.
2) From WinCC V6.2 onwards, at Runtime, you can export the trend data as a CSV file for the time slot shown in the control.
3) From WinCC V7.0 onwards you can export the data as a CSV file at Runtime for the time slot displayed or selected parts of it.
4) From WinCC V7.0 onwards you can export the Runtime data to a CSV file.

untersttzt.. Mit Hilfe von OPC HDA kann auf das WinCC Archivsystem lesend
oder schreibend zugegriffen werden. ber WinCC OLE-DB ist ein direkter
lesender Zugriff auf die von WinCC in der MS SQL Server-Datenbank
abgelegten Archivdaten mglich (Prozesswerte, Meldungen und
Anwenderdaten). Dabei knnen sogar Statistikfunktionen (z.B. Minimum,
Maximum, Durchschnitt, Varianz) angewandt werden. Dabei knnen mit einem
Zugriff die Daten von mehreren Archivvariablen gleichzeitig gelesen werden.
Die Ergebnisse knnen hierbei auf Wunsch mit einem gemeinsamen
Zeitstempel und interpoliert geliefert werden.
Hinweis
Ab WinCC V6.0 werden die Prozesswerte der Tag Logging FAST-Archive in
komprimierter Form gespeichert. Ein direkter Zugriff ist mittels WinCC OLE-DB
oder ODK mglich.
Ab WinCC V6.2 werden die Prozesswerte der Tag Logging SLOW-Archive
ebenfalls in komprimierter Form gespeichert.

Das Optionspaket WinCC/IndustrialDataBridge dient der einfachen

WinCC V6.2 SP2 / V7.0 HMI Manual Collection
Projektierung/Parametrierung der bertragung von WinCC Daten (Onlinedaten
und historischen Daten) an Fremdsysteme (andere OPC Server oder
Datenbanken) und retour mit Hilfe einer Standardsoftware.
Programmierkenntnisse sind NICHT notwendig. Es knnen Automatismen
benutzt werden, die zu bestimmten Zeitpunkten oder in Abhngigkeit von
bestimmten Bedingungen eine Datenbertragung auslsen. Beispielsweise wird
die IndustrialDataBridge im Zusammenhang mit WinCC dafr benutzt, um
Datenstze aus externen Datenbanken lesen und schreiben zu knnen.
Weiterhin besteht die Mglichkeit, auf WinCC Archive (Prozesswert- oder
Meldearchive) lesend zuzugreifen und diese Daten z.B. in eine Datei oder
Datenbank zu schreiben. Auch ein Zugriff auf die WinCC Anwenderarchive ist
mglich.

Das Optionspaket SIMATIC Process Historian ermglicht es dem Anwender

Anlagenkonfigurationen, Installation und Inbetriebnahme fr Anlagenkonfigurationen,
die Archivdaten aller vorhandenen Server auf einen Rechner auszulagern. Fr
die Anzeige und Analyse ist der Datenzugriff fr Online Segmente transparent
und u.a. ber die Standard WinCC-Clients weiterhin mglich. Fr die Clients ist
dabei unerheblich, ob die Daten sich noch auf dem WinCC Server oder bereits
auf dem SIMATIC Process Historian befinden.
