Good knowledge of market characteristics for financial instruments (pricing, liquidity, market
organization, corporate actions, derivatives) obtained through training and/or a first

Knowledge of various types of Corporate Actions like dividends, splits, rights, spin offs etc.
Good experience on using Bloomberg and other data providers like Reuters/IDC/Markit etc.

The SHIP (SHared Investment accounting Platform) project is a part of the Investment
Accounting & Controlling Program, launched in 2006 under the AXA Group CFO
sponsorship. This program aims at harmonizing systems, processes & organization for
Investment Accounting in Europe and achieves benefits:
Lower running cost
Lower cost of adapting to new regulations (Solvency II, IFRS 9, ) or new investor relations
requirements
Increased consistency of financial reporting
Lower costs of integrating future acquisitions
The main objectives of the SHIP project for Investment accounting are :
Harmonization of processes and accounting standards across countries,
Set up a Shared Services Organisation,
Yearly savings on maintenance.
The implementation project started in January 2010 and ended in 2015 for European
countries. The platform operates by two shared organizations: a Center of Excellence (CoE)
acting as a hub for technical expertise, located in Paris, and a Financial Shared Service
Center (FSSC).
The project is now extending worldwide (Japan, Asia, ).
Your mission:
Attached to the Center of Excellence, you will be in charge of supporting the data
management team.
Core activities
Ensure the reliability and quality of master and market data for securities invested in
Insurance Companies of AXA Group managed on the Ship platform based on SAP.
Follow up the scope extension and the data migration for new Ship countries
Main responsibilities are:
To supervise, assist on complex or new topics the Data Management team offshored in
India
To liaise & follow up the complex requests with Investment accounting teams and the TAS
teams (offshored or located in Paris), Ship countries and DALI (Internal AXA provider for
Master&Market data)
To maintain and update if necessary the information in Ship2 (complex bonds, special
loans, ),
To handle the monthly closing by performing the price check to ensure the completeness,
freshness and accuracy of prices.
To propose improvements of the IT solution and also business processes and controls, write
detailed specifications (IT&Process), monitor the implementation and development of all
enhancements with the stakeholders concerned.

Technical and professional skills :
