1948:IndianArmyannexesprincelystateofHyderabad,which
compriseddifferentregionsincludingTelangana.
1950:TelanganabecameHyderabadState.
Nov1,1956:TelanganamergedwithAndhraState,whichwas
carvedoutofMadrasState,toformAndhraPradesh,aunitedstate
forTeluguspeakingpeople.
1969:JaiTelanganamovementforseparatestatehoodto
Telanganabegan.Over300peoplekilledinpolicefiring.
