I. Safety precautions

property loss, and the methods of using the product correctly and safely.

NOTE
If theres no XYE communication terminals in the indoor unit PCB,
connect it to XYE communication terminals in the outdoor unit .

Connect the data converter to the transformer or router to debug after we confirm the
Default Gateway and Subnet Mask in the LAN
B. Configure the data transformer IP address
If IP address segment of the device is the same as that of the PC, this configuration
is unnecessary then. Directly enter into C step: static IP address configuration.
Otherwise the IP address needs to be changed.
Firstly, connect the device to a computer. Theres no need to go through the
transformer or router. If theres one, please unplug the cable to the computer firstly
,and then connecting as the figure shown below (cross line).Connect the device with
PC by cross line only.
When entering the Local Area Connection Properties, double click Internet
protocol Version4(TCP/IPv4) or click
Properties to enter into Internet
protocol Version4(TCP/IPv4)properties
dialogue. Choose Use the following IP
address

We can see the Default
Gateway is our default
gateway: 10.46.4.1,
Subnet Mask is the
subnet mask:
255.255.255.0. Thus, we
need to change our device
IP address to this

As shown in the figure, choose Use the following IP address(s) and input
192.168.1.xxx in IP address, xxx ranging from 0 to 255. Dont input 200; Input
255.255.255.0 in the Default Gateway. Click OK after finishing configuring and log off.
When finishing configuring the IP address, open IE browser and input 192.168.1.200
to enter into the WEB page of the data converter, as shown in the figure:

Connect the device to 485 communication wire after device settings(Refer to the
schematic diagram). Pay attention to A2,B2,E terminals have been connected to XYE
terminals of the central air-conditioner outdoor unit or to F1,F2,E terminals of the
transformer;

doesnt have this address. Thus, we can begin C ,static address operations.
If it appears Lost=0, it indicates our network segment has been occupied. Thus, we

Users use the system through the webpage(http:// www.imdv.com.cn ) or IOS app so
that we should do the following operations
First of all, input the address of Midea air-conditioner cloud center, click registration
and enter into the registration page.
In the registration page, input your password and verification code(Note: the code
should be a 6~8-digit number). Submit after confirmation.
After finishing
settings, click OK
to confirm.

iPhone control app is designed for Apple IOS users to control the central
air-conditioner system, Under the App store to search "Midea", you can find the
software called "Midea MDV", and you can download it for free.
After logging in, click refresh to check the number of units, actual temp. of each unit and the
operation conditions directly. You can also group control operation modes of units or start
up/shut down the units. For controlling a single unit, just click it directly. Users can change
the names of units according to their needs.
After connecting the data converter, monitor or timing a single or multiple units in the
air-conditioning system. See the iPhone interface in the figure.
Click the "Edit" button on the left bottom can set it.

As shown in the picture, click the area where needs to add an indoor unit and
