Rep. Joe Sestak, winner of the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate primary, is
refusing to provide more information on what job he was offered by a White
House official to drop of that race, although he confirmed again that the incident

The White House was backing incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) in the
primary. Sestak acknowledged in an interview in February that he was offered a
position by an unnamed White House official - a potential violation of federal law -
but has not offered any specifics on conversation. Republicans are trying to use

thing they need to learn is say what you mean and STAND BEHIND IT!
Don't get on tv or the radio with these scumbags, say something and then
turn around and "APOLOGIZE" for it! That's exactly what they (Leftist

What did Obama know about the job offer to Sestak and when did he know
it? This COULD be the story of a lifetime for some intrepid editor and
reporters. Needless to say, at least SOME of Obama's boot licking toadies
in the MSM would give their right arm if they could pin a federal crime on a
president.....ANY president. You better believe that there are more than a
few folks crapping their pants right now in the White House. My advice to
the low level creeps around Obama that have information on this serious
federal crime is to step forward now and make a deal. Some folks are going
to wind up under the bus on this one. Dont let it be you!

This is a crime. Bribery, in order to affect a federal election, is a crime.

Period. If it weren't, then Robert Gibbs wouldn't avoid answering the
question over and over. I want to see Sestak come completely clean on
this, but he won't unless he is compelled by an official inquiry. Let's start
the hearings.

If Sestak does not come clean he is complicite of a crime against America.
Next January we should see him in front of a commitee to throw the one out
of office and than deport him to his birth place. Than gibe Rahm to the

I have heard of federal criminal prosecutions where candidates were given

offers to pay off their campaign debt if they would drop out of the race. The
offeror was prosecuted. I am sure the story will be that the job offer came
because the administration thought he was the best person for the job and
that it had NOTHING to do with the senate race. Of course that would be a

Either Sestak or the White House--read Barack Obama, David Axelrod,

Rahm Emanuel, Robert Gibbs--is lying. No gray zone. Odds of Obama
telling the truth, thus not sacrificing Sestak's credibility? One to one
gazillion to the gazillionth power. Odds of the state-controlled minion media
accurately and objectively reporting this, including pursuing a final yes/no
answer from Obama and the White House? One to one gazillion to the
gazillionth power and that product then taken to the gazillionth power.
Everyone, everyone, but Mr. Mendacity himself, Barack Hussein Obama,
will end up under his bus, sooner or later. All with the help of his
manufacturers and shills in the former Fourth Estate. To think the admiral
will be sunk for the Marxist Chicago punk. Perhaps the admiral will follow
the same honor code to which he agreed while at the Naval Academy.
"Midshipmen are persons of integrity: They stand for that which is right.
They tell the truth and ensure that the full truth is known. They do not lie."
Lying comes through refusal to tell the whole truth or intentional omission.
Sestak knows that. We know that. Even prevaricator Obama knows that.
But if Sestak continues to refuse to reveal details, then he assures that a
collateral casualty becomes that very honor code. So what, though? Given
Obama's lack of honor and integrity, deconstructing yet another morally
anchored code fits with the regime leader. It means nothing to him. But it
should to Joe Sestak.

Sez. Now that Sez offed Arlen, he has to develop as much functional
amnesia as possible, meaning nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more --
mainly to protect himself, and take the little stones out of everyone's shooz.
So the Casa Blanca mobettes and Joey Sez both zip lips to go along with
each other, to get along -- till November. Good job by Steele on this. Let the
other side strike first and weakly after the primaries, such as with the
attempt to tar Rand Paul with theoretical Ray C. Ism. Then smack them
upside the head with a real-life trump card/baseball bat. You can review
what Rand Paul said in its entirety. But we won't get the full story on
Sestak -- either from the Casa Blanca or Sestak. The common Obama
thread: Hamid Karzai and Afghanistan. Felipe Calderon, Arizona, and illegal
immigration. Joey Sez. See no illegal, speak no illegal (publicly or near a
tape recorder), hear no illegal.

Can you imagine the outcry from the left if this had happened with Bush.
They would have been demanding an investigation and possible

the State run media. Even Gregory seemed unfazed by the comments.
There should be an investigation of who authorized the appointment and

"Mr. Schieffer then asked Mr. Sestak, a subsequent guest on the program,
whether the White House had offered him a job to get out. Mr. Sestak said
that when he was asked that question several months ago, “I said yes.”
Gibbs had confirmed earlier on the same show that the White House met

Here's what I found are impeachable offenses. My research found that two-
thirds of the senate are needed to impeach a president. That's why no one
is interested in doing anything about this: Not enough senate votes to make
it stick. It would be a waste of time. Impeachable Offenses Article II,
Section 4 of the Constitution says, "The President, Vice President and all
civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on
Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes
and Misdemeanors." Are any of those acts "Treason, Bribery, or other High
Crimes and Misdemeanors?" Constitutional lawyers say, "High Crimes and
Misdemeanors" are (1) real criminality -- breaking a law; (2) abuses of
power; (3) "violation of public trust" as defined by Alexander Hamilton in the
Federalist Papers. I In the past, Congress has issued Articles of
Impeachment for acts in three general categories: Exceeding the
constitutional bounds of the powers of the office. Behavior grossly
incompatible with the proper function and purpose of the office. Employing
the power of the office for an improper purpose or for personal gain.

You know, the really sad thing is that Obama and his Democrat allies will
probably get away with this potential scandal scott-free. From what I've
seen of him, he's pretty good at covering up his misdeeds or making his
actions justified no matter how bad they are. However, he has gone a step
further. That is, about a month or two ago, he told his voters to stop
watching the news all the time. He said to them they should go do
something else while trusting him to run the country. A few weeks ago,
there have been reports that Obama and President Gibbs have been giving
fewer press conferences (I think) to the reporters. Recently, He has been
going around colleges to address the graduation commencements by
saying that the students should not believe the negative things in the news.
Well, he said that the students should watch out for stories that sound
gloomy or distrustful. Of course, Obama is saying that the students
shouldn't believe the crimes or mistakes he has been doing or committing.
The bribing of the politicians to support his health care bill. Appointing
people with checkered or scandelous past lives. And so forth. What's worse
is that former President Clinton is getting into it. Have read about portions of
his Yale commencement speech? It's sort of like Obama's message of
telling our students to be wary of the things that are printed on paper or
broadcast over the waves. For some reason, why do I get the feeling Clinton
is helping Obama out? I hope these students don't become brainwashed by
Obama and Clinton. If our young students' minds get messed up on
account of Obama and Democrats, I hope those politicians pay for their
sins.

If this were Bush, he'd be claiming executive privilege and national security,
and any Democrat calling for investigation would be screamed at as
unpatriotic. Sestak served in the White House before under Clinton. There
aren't many firmly Democratic politicians who were top military
commanders. So offering him a job isn't a stretch. Sorry wingnuts, you're
gonna have to prove this somehow.

Posted By: pd nyc | May 24, 2010 at 08:26 AM Report Abuse

Well, Sestak simply did not like the job that he was offered, and decided
instead to run for Senate - or continue to run for Senate is the most likely
explanation. Any and all of this could be a lie. The obomunist may have
wanted Specter (I prefer Spectre) to THINK that they were supporting him,
hence the "apparent" but truly non-existent job offer to make Spectre think
that they were being truthful and that Sestak was "going rogue". Or some
other permutation / combination of lies. But it is all Democrat politics, so
one can be assured that the lying involved was legion. In November -- when
the Ballot Report Card is published, be sure to be on the Honor Roll. And
remember, that you can't be on the Honor Roll if you have any "D's".

It seems that Vice Admiral Sestak has forgotten a few things since his
days at the Naval Academy. Otherwise, he would not take this hands off
approach. The honor concept that all of the service acadamies teach is very
inconsistent with his actions here. There is a link below to the current
version from the Naval Academy (the words have changed periodically, but
the core concepts remain the same). The key concept applicable to this
situation is this - "They tell the truth and ensure that the full truth is known."
Vice Admiral Sestak has an obligation to ensure that the full truth is known,
not to leave this floating for the media to find a way to ignore. Here's the link
to the Naval Academy's honor concept:
