recipe takes 1 hour with the preparation time (15 min)
and the cooking time of 45 minutes. But that is nothing
to have the satisfaction of healthy sweet potato dog

1 sweet potato

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1. Preheat your over to 350 which is 175 C for those of you in

Europe. Be sure to poke the sweet potato a few times.

2. Heat sweet potato in a microwave on high until tender. This
should only take about 5-6 minutes. Cut potato in half and
scoop the potato away from the skin and then discard the
skin. Mash potato with a fork or potato masher and
transfer about 1 cup to a large bowl. Feel free to reserve
any extra sweet potato for later use.

3. Mix whole wheat flour, applesauce, and eggs in the large bowl

with the sweet potato until a dough forms. Turn dough out
on a well-floured surface and roll dough to about 1/2-inch
thick. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or cut dough
into strips with a pizza cutter. Arrange cookies on an
ungreased baking sheet.
4. You want to bake until crisp which should take about 35 to 45
minutes. Let the treats cool in a pan for a bit and then
transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

You can save your treats in an air tight container which

is what we suggest for most treats.
