It's Mario, an organizer with United We Dream Houston. Houston is home for you and me, and
many immigrant families. Sadly, there are local realities that counter the diversity and
welcoming nature of our city, like the fact that Harris County, which Houston is within, is the
deportation capital of the US! But we can change that.
That's why I'm reaching out to you for an opportunity to join us in helping make Houston a
more immigrant-friendly city to all those who call this great city home.

We need 50 volunteers to help us get 4,000 voters in Houston out to the polls. Will you
be one of them?

We are using the elections to educate people on 287 (g), the program that is responsible for
the deportation of 12,670 immigrants.

hogar de miles de familias inmigrantes. Desgraciadamente, aqu en nuestra ciudad existen
