Side 2 - Actual Size

Unique plastic badge provides a reversible, see-through window for establishing the EKG baseline.
Can be used for both EKG rhythm strips and 12 lead EKG analysis
Badge measures 3 by 2 inches about the same size as an average ID badge or credit card.
Fits in any size pocket

Horizontal Format

Durable and flexible and can be

wiped clean with disinfectant.

Reversible, see-through baseline window to look for ST changes

Color coded format to locate areas of muscle involvement
Calibrated measurement tools on the badge for assessing
Heart Rate and waveform intervals.

Vertical Format

Can even be used on angled EKG

baselines as seen above!

Advantages of the unique measuring tools of the R-CAT EKG Badge!

Calipers, paper & pencil Outdated measuring tools are often inaccurate
and can lead to EKG misdiagnosis

R-CAT EKG Badge The NEW standard for accurate EKG

measurements

When using a piece of paper to evaluate

ST changes on an EKG, up to 50% of each
complex is obscured.

The unique see-through window standardizes the

baseline without concealing any of the EKG complex.
Same EKG on left - ST elevation with significant Q-waves.

Calipers can loosen making it difficult to maintain the

accuracy of a measurement from point to point.

The R-R interval is measured from the tops of the

R waves and the badge calculates the rate for you
(i.e. Heart Rate of 60).

Outdated methods such as calipers or paper and pencil

add additional step by counting boxes.

PR, QRS and QT intervals are measured using the red

boxes on the badge - giving you validated measurements
of waveform intervals from .03 to .44 sec.

(enlarged)

(enlarged)

A pencil lead can be up to .04 seconds wide adding

additional width causing inaccurate measurements.

Interpreting the same EKG on the left using the EKG

Badge, the accurate measurement of the QRS is .10 sec

Medical personnel must always validate the accuracy of the computerized EKG readout.
Dont get caught searching for outdated EKG analysis tools when minutes count.

Always have the Superior EKG analysis tool at your fingertips
