BRP by bison offers a broad range of standard site furnishing
collections that will satisfy the needs of most landscape and parkscape
designers. Occasionally, there is a need or desire for custom or semicustom site furnishings to match or complement existing or planned
project components. BRP by bison is uniquely qualified to provide
custom design and manufacturing to satisfy these needs as 100% of
our work is done in-house in our own modern facility.
As a true manufacturer with all items built onsite, most custom orders
are shipped in 4-8 weeks. Feasibility of custom products will depend

At BRP by bison, our product engineering, manufacturing processes,
and the materials we purchase are developed with environmentallyfriendly yet cost effective strategies in mind. BRP by bison is committed
to using high content post-consumer, post-industrial recycled steel and
plastics as well as processes that use green, recycled components
whenever possible throughout the prototype, fabrication, and finishing
stages. BRP by bison is proud to be a manufacturer of premium bicycle
security stations to encourage alternative transportation, ash
receptacles and ash top options to help define smoking and nonsmoking areas, seating options to complement outside recreation
activities, and litter and recycling receptacles to assist in controlling
and reducing waste. Our entire product line carries a Lifetime
Functional Warranty as a testament to our commitment to sustainability

Powder Coating Process Indoor Environmental Quality Credit
4.2: Low-Emitting Materials: Paints and Coatings

BRP by bison has quality powder coating lines onsite that handle all
Weatherbeater Mastercoat traditional powder coating and EcoSoft
thermoplastic finishes. Both processes result in minimal waste and are
environmentally friendly. Plus, the efficient layout of our automated
lines reduces overall cost and our low-cost, clean natural gas cure ovens
reduce our dependence on secondary heating systems in cooler
months.
Recycled Content Materials and Resources Credit 4: Recycled

Content
One hundred percent of BRP by bisons products are steel, the worlds
most recycled material. BRP by Bison purchases its steel from domestic
(USA) mills and they provide merchant bar and rebar products
produced from 100% recycled scrap. Our ductile iron castings are
produced utilizing 95% recycled steel and iron scrap. Our receptacle
liners are 100% recyclable. And, our 100% steel products are 100%
recyclable!
Regional Materials Materials and Resources Credit 5: Regional
Materials
BRP by bison is centrally located and, therefore, we are able to provide
site furnishings to a 14-state section of the Midwest to meet LEEDs
regional requirement. A 500-mile radius around our manufacturing
facility includes Denver to the West, Chicago to the East, Grand Forks
to the North, and the Texas panhandle to the South and includes major
metropolitan areas of Minneapolis, Kansas City, and St. Louis as well.
Our entire product line is manufactured in Lincoln, Nebraska (68508).

BRP by bison site furnishings are constructed from industrial-strength
materials reducing the need for future replacements and extending
product life, as evidenced by our Lifetime Functional Warranty. Classic
and comfortable designs ensure compatibility with ever-changing land
uses and fashions.
Low Maintenance Finishes

BRP by bison site furnishings are low maintenance products that
require just soap and water to clean in most instances. Our finishes are
low-emission to reduce long-term impact on the environment. If a
finish is damaged, our 100% welded steel construction products can
be sandblasted, a chemical-free process, and simply re-finished.
Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling In Our Facilities

Our employees continue to expand our facility-wide recycling efforts
for steel, aluminum, glass, plastics, corrugated, and paper and our
packaging process limits the use of non-recyclable materials and uses
recycled skids and crating materials whenever possible. Our product
catalog is printed on paper utilizing post-consumer recycled fiber. To
reduce energy costs and fuel needs, our production areas have
converted to four 10-hour shifts, plus open windows and doors allow
fresh air in whenever temperatures allow, and energy-efficient
strategies control lighting and equipment use when office and
production areas are closed, and many staff members take advantage
of our citys extensive bike and walking trails.

It takes attention to detail to feel confident offering a
10-year warranty on outdoor finishes. BRP by bison
starts with 100% welded construction eliminating the
risk of finish failure at assembly points. Sandblasting,
5-stage wash and conversion coating prep the
material for proper powder coating application and
curing. The specially formulated epoxy primer and
textured Weatherbeater finish coat when properly
precured, then cured, will produce a tough bond and
minimum 8 mil average finish thickness. Note that
custom colors are sandblasted, powder coated with
the custom polyester color coat and then clear coated
with a protective clear textured finish. Proper
packaging completes what we feel is the best finishing
process in the industry.

BRP by bison EcoSoft offers the thick, soft feel found with fluidized bed or dipped PVC
plastic coated products but without the environmental risks common in traditional
plastic coating processes.
EcoSoft is the standard finish on all BRP by bison Private Collection products and its
30-50 mil thickness reduces edges that are sometimes created when laser cutting logos
or lettering into customized site furnishings.

consider this a lifetime finish in most applications. All hot dip
galvanizing is done after all fabrication and welding is complete to
assure maximum coverage of all areas. Our hot dip galvanized
option is especially good for bike security stations, bollards or
similar products when aesthetics are less important than durability.
Under normal circumstances, it is not advisable to
hot dip galvanize benches or receptacles.

done in-house, we have no minimum quantity or artwork upcharge. And
you will be amazed at the turnaround time. As an added feature, all
Private Collection site furnishings are finished with our premium EcoSoft
thermoplastic powder coated finish that creates a comfortable yet
durable feel similar to polyvinyl (PVC) fluidize bed dipped coating but
without the environmentally unfriendly PVC hazards. Private Collection

Outdoor Player Benches

Great choice for sideline or dugout player
seating. Rugged 2" square welded
galvanized steel supports and 15' long,
10" wide anodized aluminum planks easily
seat 10 players per bench. Each bench has
a comfortable backrest. Order SPBN10 for
freestanding portable player bench or
SPBN20 for permanent embedded player
bench.

Mount Base Covers
Most BRP by bison benches that are 72 or

96 long are designed to allow the addition of
a center armrest to increase comfort and to
reduce unwanted lounging. Only with BRP by
bison are these optional armrests free.
Consult your sales representative to confirm
availability on the BRP benches of your
choice. To add free center armrests, Model
ZARMR must be included on the original
order.
You can add a more finished look

to tubular embedded or surface
mount site furnishings with the
addition of these optional covers.
Covers are split to allow installation
after the bench installation is
complete. Order one ZSMCV2 for
each embedded tubular
component that is 23/8 diameter
and order one ZSMCV4 for each
4 diameter embedded tubular
component.
Cast Memorial Bench Plaque

Designed specifically to be installed on BRP
by bisons Model MC106-72 Arched Back
Memorial Benches, this bronze plaque is
approximately 8 long, 3 wide, and 5/16
thick. Mounts with two brass screws predrilled in bench and plaque. If no plaque is
ordered with your bench, a blank plate will
be installed for shipment. Contact the BRP
factory sales department for details on
ordering ZCASTPLAQUE.

Bollard Sleeve
BRP by bisons 4 removable
mount bollard comes complete
with this specially designed sleeve
that is embedded flush in the
concrete. In some applications,
extra bollard sleeves may be
required to allow repositioning of
bollards as needed. Order ZSLV4
for each extra bollard sleeve
required. Order ZSLV8 for each
extra sleeve required for BRB8-RM
8" bollard.

Side Load Receptacles
BRP by bison offers many receptacle models
with side door openings. These receptacles
have finger lever latches. If your application
requires the side doors to be locked, add
optional ZKEY to your original order. ZKEY is
not retrofittable at a later date.

BRP by bison Warranty and Return Policy

BRP by bison LLC warrants all site furnishings and outdoor sports related equipment to be free from manufacturing
defects for no less than one year from the date of invoice. Additionally, all site furnishings including but not limited to
benches, litter, recycling and ash receptacles, bike security stations and planters carry a Lifetime Functional Warranty that
covers structural and functional failure of steel components including welding.
BRP by bison Weatherbeater Mastercoat and EcoSoft thermoplastic finishes are warranted for 10 years from the date of
invoice. This warranty covers coating adhesion, flaking and peeling. Cosmetic deterioration due to ultraviolet sunlight,
finish chipping and resulting rust caused by abuse, handling or excessive impact are excluded from coverage.
Under no circumstances will BRP by bison warranty cover any failure that is a result of abuse, misuse, vandalism, natural
disasters or lack of appropriate care. All warranty claims must be accompanied by digital photos that clearly show the
failure and a copy of the original invoice. Upon determination that a warranty claim is determined to be valid,
BRP by bison will repair or replace the warranted product at BRP by bisons option. Under no circumstances will any
BRP by bison warranties cover any costs associated with the removal, handling, storing or reinstallation of warranted
products. All returns must be labeled with a return authorization number supplied by our Customer Service Department
and be accompanied by a packing list that includes the return authorization number provided by BRP by bison.

BRP by Bison Bench ADA Compliance

When used in normal outdoor applications, including streetscapes,
parks or similar public rights-of-ways, all BRP by bison benches, if
installed according to the instructions provided, comply with
requirements of all draft and published ADA and ABA guidelines at
the time of this writing including Chapter R3: Technical Provisions,
R307.6.3.2 "The Revised Draft Guidelines for Accessible Public
Rights-of-Way."
Often cited Section 903 does not apply to benches
installed outdoors and specifically only applies to
applications when used in steam or sauna rooms,
dressing, fitting or locker rooms, holding or housing
cells and courtrooms.
