To,

The Chairman,
Federal Public Service Commission,
Islamabad.
Sir,
It is to bring to your notice that the number of candidates from different cities
of Sindh appearing in the tests conducted by FPSC has recently increased.
Currently, there are only two cities of Sindh as Test Centres for FPSC Tests i.e
Karachi and Sukkur. A large number of candidates from Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas,
Nawabshah, Badin and other nearby cities of Hyderabad select Karachi as the Test
Centre as it is the only choice for them. Generally, FPSC announce a number of
differents tests in the same advertisement, and candidates apply for more than one
test. The same happened to us in recently held tests of Custom Inspector,
Preventive Officers, and Appraising Officers. These 3 tests were conducted on 3
consecutive days. So we had to live in Karachi for 3 days. To live in a metropolitan
city like Karachi for 3 or 4 days is not affordable by an unemployed person or a
person with low income. Thus, Hyderabad will be the convenient choice as Test
Centre for candidates appearing from different cities of Sindh because of its
strategic location as it is the centre point connecting many small cities. Therefore, it
is requested that Hyderabad be also made as choice for Test Centre in tests
conducted by FPSC so that a talented and competitive person from middle class
family can easily afford to appear in the Tests where he has set high hopes for
getting a good job as FPSC being the only testing service where there is no bias and
corruption.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Your Sincerely
Ateeq Ahmed Laghari
