SCOPE OF WORK
Annual Maintenance checks will be carried out in accordance with Waheed Electric annual
maintenance guide applicable to the product. The scope of Annual maintenance includes
routine inspection and checks of equipment along with operating parameters. The customers
equipment includes,
GENERAL/WALK-AROUND INSPECTION;
1. Coolant Level.
2. Oil (Crankcase)
3. Leakages, both oil & coolant.
4. Fan/Alternator belts condition.
5. Air Cleaner element indicator.
6. Batteries electrolyte level/battery cables/specific gravity.
7. Missing or broken parts.
8. Inspection of exciter parts and connections.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (WHEN REQUIRED)
1. Changing Oil and filters.
2. Changing coolant and coolant conditioners.
3. Servicing/changing air-cleaner element.
4. Filling Battery electrolyte.
5. Greasing all service points.
6. Fan belt adjustment/replacement.
7. Changing Fuel Filter.
TESTING & CHECKING (WHEN REQUIRED WITHOUT MATERIALS)
1. Testing engine under load & off load condition for general performance/evaluation. Load to
be provided by client.
2. Testing of safety devices operation, dash gauges and panel gauges operation.
4. Output voltage for fluctuation/adjustment.
5. Rectification of all leakages.
6. Checking of water pump.
7. Checking of starting circuit.
8. Checking of charging circuit.
9. Checking of exciter.
10. Checking of gauges.
11. Checking of shut-off circuit.
12. Checking of fan drive unit.
13. Checking of oil pump.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1- This Contract shall be valid from 2015 TO 2016.
2- This Contract covers only routine maintenance and shall not cover other than routine
maintenance, like minor, major overhauling or any part replacement job.
3- The payment of this contract shall be made 50% in advance of the contractual year.
4- Waheed Electric agrees to provide the services a minimum of forty-eight (48) visits per year
including emergency visits per site. Visits will be performed during normal working days
Monday to Saturday in normal working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in sound social
situation.
5- Extra invoice will be raise by Waheed Electric to the customer if any visit found excess to the
routine numbers of visit per year.
6- Waheed Electric shall arrange Lubricants, Filter, elements and all other necessary
consumable items as per requirement for the required maintenance. It will be the responsibility
of Waheed Electric to maintain inventory level of spare parts.
7- The reason behind arrangement of parts is solely quality insurance of the parts and less
Maintenance/Troubleshooting of Engine
8- Insurance regarding engines and related equipment will be the responsibility of customer.
9- Waheed Electric will not be responsible for any consequential loses due to malfunctioning /
major breakdown due to any cause of the generator/equipment.
8- The Customer agrees that this Contract shall be renewed by (mutual consent) additional
costs due to the cause of inflation factor after completion this contract period.
10- If at any time, any dispute or controversy or question arises whether in any direct or
indirect mean with regard to the provisions of this contract or with regard to any issue not
specifically covered hereunder, the same shall be settled by the mutual negotiations at the level
of Senior Management of both the parties.
