La presencia de Internet en nuestra vida

Hoy también es el día Mundial de las Telecomunicaciones y la Sociedad de la Información. Una jornada
que además se celebra como el día de Internet. Hemos echado la vista atrás para ver los cambios que ha
provocado la red desde sus inicios.
Querida abuela:
¡Nueva York es una pasada! No hemos parado. En cuatro días hemos recorrido la isla. Genial la guía de
viajes que saqué de la biblioteca. El hotel, al final, está más lejos de lo que esperábamos, pero los de la
agencia nos llevaron desde el aeropuerto y nos vamos manejando con el transporte.
Esta noche nos vamos al cine. Hemos quedado con unos chicos portugueses que hemos conocido
esperando el autobús. Querían que fuésemos a cenar bacalao, pero no sabían dónde. Les he dicho que el
tuyo es el mejor y que ya les mandaríamos la receta.
Por cierto, no sé dónde apunté el teléfono de la hija de tu prima. Pero ya sé cómo funcionan las cabinas. Y
antes de volver le llevo el libro y los discos que nos encargó, ¡palabra! Me encantaría que pudieras ver
todo esto. ¡Qué de cosas distintas en las tiendas! No sé ya ni el dinero que me queda. Ya te enseñaré las
fotos a la vuelta. Todavía nos queda una semana, a ver si te llega antes la carta.

casi un millón superior a un año antes.
