KZNSA Gallery (2012): At this well renowned gallery in Durban I was working as a co-curator
and arts team member. Here I learnt valuable skills as to how the gallery is run and I was
fortunate to be a prat of many exhibitions that allowed me to network.
Durban Girls High School (2012): I began an internship at DGHS for a couple of months as
part of my work integrated learning programme. This was a wonderful opportunity to hone my
art skills and get inspiration from young minds. My time here was invaluable and I was guided
by an excellent mentor.
University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN-2013): At the School of Mathematical Sciences
Astrophysics and Cosmology research Unit I played the role of conceptualizing and producing
astronomical artworks. This was a collaborative initiative that taught me immensely.
BAT Centre (2014): I worked here for some time as an arts facilitator. Here I worked with
groups and individual emerging artists and had developed my love for art and peoples
conversations and concepts around the arts.
Durban University of Technology- DUT (2015): I was no stranger to DUT, as I had been a
student here and also tutored in 2012 in the Faculty of Arts and Design, Fine Art department.
In 2015 I resumed a role, which was more challenging. I was afforded the opportunity to
lecture drawing and painting to undergraduates on a part time basis. This also came with the
role of being a teaching assistant to the senior lecturers.
