To Study Half Subtractor.

Aim
The aim is to build a half Subtractor circuit and verify the output with the truth
table.
Theory:
Half Subtractor is a combinational circuit that performs subtraction of two bits
and has two inputs and two outputs. The two inputs denoted by A and B
represents
subtrahend
and
minuend.
The
two outputs
are
the
difference
D
and
the
borrow
bit
B.
The borrow
output
specifies that
a 1
must be borrowed from the next significant bit as the minuend is smaller than
the subtrahend. The truth table is as shown below:

Difference = A'B+AB'=A
Borrow=B'A

Procedure:
1. Switch On the Apparatus.
2. Give Inputs According to the Truth Table And Verify the Output.
Result:
The Truth table of Half Subtractor Has been Verified.
