Keeping Up with the Joneses

Dear Family and Friends,

I was recently reading a devotional book of David
Jeremiah and was encouraged at one of his comments
about the verse above. He said, The body of Christ,
therefore, is a family community that shares in the grace
and gifts of God equally. It is a great joy to be in the
family of God and experience the graces and gifts of our
brothers and sisters in the Lord.
We began this month with our Drive-In spring Board
Meeting. It was a blessed time mirroring this verse. Our
board members and wives (see photo below, we were
missing Shirley & Patti) work together to further the
cause of Drive-In Ministries, and the love fellowship and
encouragement is truly family. Every board meeting is
like a family reunion that reminds us that we are one
together in the Lord and are always there for each other.

We took the group out to see the property and

took a before photo and trust the after photo
we will take in the fall will be quite different than
the one above! We even have a mailbox on the
property that Joseph built for us! He has been a
big help already, as have Stephen, Joshua, and a
volunteer, Rob, who are keeping the property
mowed. We are still looking for a contractor and
meeting a few other city requirements before
breaking ground.
This month also includes movie meetings, work on
the DIM property, a few days vacation with family,
and ends with a week and a half of ministry in
Colombia, S. America for Stephen and myself. We
praise the Lord for the gifts that came in for him!

God with us last month ended up with another trip to the hospital for Jennifer with a broken collarbone from
another horse roping accident. We are thankful there was no concussion. She will be doing therapy for her back
3x/week for a month. Birthdays this month are for Stephen (24), and Joshuas wife, Krystal. Our grandson, Tate,
would have been 5 this month and we still miss knowing what life would have been like with him. Mike & I
celebrate 36 years together. Our family is taking a beach trip for a few days to Destin, Florida, so
I am hurrying to get ready to go. We will stay in a house that has been provided by friends.
Joseph has a teen week at Camp Victory the end of the month. Thanks so much for your prayers! AMJ
We are always thankful for our support family. Your love and grace extended to us faithfully strengthens our faith and
furthers our ministry. We could not do this without the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank the Lord for you
daily.
