FliSAFE
FliSAFE-is a Safety Management FDM/FOQA Tool that helps airlines to identify, classify
and manage risks for the safety of flight operations and provides you with a framework to
build a sound business.
supports a wide range of data recording devices, including tape and solid state FDRs,
HHDLUs, QARs, DARs, PC cards from DMUs and wireless data lnks in different formats
(bin, fld, dat, fdr, dlu, raw etc).
features include parameter/Exceedance/warnings configuration, color graphical traces
with on-screen scaling, engineering unit lists, raw data views, graphical/readout reports,
data quality reporting, support for printing and exporting, creation of parameter display
groups for quick report creation, trend reports etc
FliSAFE is used by airlines that wish to carry out an FDM, FDA, or FOQA Program that follows the rules, regulations and/or guide-lines set out by ICAO (Amendment 26 to Annex 6

Batch (Automatic) Processing

Allows 100% automation of the flight data processing thus saving precious manpower
and money.
User can schedule FliSAFE to run automatically at a pre determined time everyday/once
in two days etc.
The software will automatically invoke itself and then perform importing of multiple data
files from a pre designated folder or FTP server and performs analysis and stores the
exceedance/warning details, all without any amount of human interference.
Automatic detection of duplicate files, duplicate flights helps user to omit analysis of
repeated files/flights.
Email Notification of process completion

3D Flight Animation (FlightViz/3DFliSAFE)

NeST Avionics Flight Visualization & Animation Software system-3DFliSAFE demonstrates the
virtual flight using DFDR data recorded during the flight. 3DFliSAFE can be primarily used for
FOQA activities and training of the crew personnel.

Full capabilities to demonstrate the complete flight path reconstruction and jeppessen
overlay of the flight path.
Demonstrate the landing profile of the aircraft along with the glide slope and localizer
views.
Flight performance with respect to the actual SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and record the deviations of actual flight with SOP.
Provides the visualization of the flight during any phase of flight and more emphasis is laid on landing and
takeoff phases for clear analysis of flight during these critical phases of flight.
Extensive library of panels, instruments, 3D aircraft models, a Runway Model Editor; and a 3D World Terrain Database that provides one-kilometre resolution terrain elevation data and satellite imagery.

Flight Tracker using Google Earth

Plots the flight path in two dimensional or three dimensional views, locate the
occurrence of flight phase, monitor exceedance , parameter values along
flight path using Google Earth,
Useful in calculation of airspace charges to be paid to various countries for
long haul international flights.
Compare the flown approach against the published final approach
Find out at what altitude the aircraft was stabilized (track, configuration,
speed)
Zoom in to the landing zone and see the touchdown point of the aircraft. This
can be very helpful in determining short/long flares and long landing distances.

CVR Analysis
It supports
1. CVR audio channel extraction
(from .cvr file).
2. Decompression of each channel
(to .wav)
3. Time synchronization of CVR audio
with FDR data
4. FDR data graphical readout along with CVR
audio playback.

Pattern Search

FliSAFE-Retrieve allows users for bit

level study of FDR data in raw format. This module is a frequent requirement for checking the quality of
recorder data, for accident investigation and for complex airline events.

The Pattern Search tool is used to search

flight data files for user defined patterns.
By identifying patterns associated with specific adverse events in a flight, analysts can
better understand the causes of these
events and, in turn, take actions to prevent
them from occurring in the future.
User can search for any condition with any
combination of parameter values to check
its occurrence in any part of flight data.

Trend Analysis
Trend Analysis analyzes the trend of
Exceedance, Warning, and Extreme
Values that have occurred over a period of
time in different Aircrafts.

Multi-Data Readout
This module allows the user to compare /
view the readouts of different flights / sub
frame ranges in the same window.

User has many options to choose from different combinations to generate the trend
report over the specified period.
The trend reports generated can be directly
presented to the regulatory authorities.

MOQAEngine Health & Fuel Monitoring

FliSAFE-MOQA (Maintenance Ops Quality Assurance) provides extensive engineering features for decision support in reducing operating cost through more efficient and preventive
maintenance actions.
MOQA Modules include: Aircraft Performance Monitoring Module ,Engine Condition Monitoring Module , Fuel Monitoring Module , Reduced Thrust Monitoring , Time Monitoring Module
The basic flight data monitoring software -FliSAFE- FOQA/FDM will give the decoded flight
data input to MOQA. MOQA also helps in Automatic event detection, Exceedance analysis

eFliSAFE is the web based FOQA/FDM service from NeST Avionics (P) ltd. It enables the
airline customers to Upload the flight data
and Download the analysis reports with Secure Data transfer over the Internet to/from
our centralized remote processing and analysis station from each airport or maintenance
station.
The use of Internet enables data to be sent
to a central eFliSAFE server for analysis and
allows reports and assessments to be sent to
