VTB completes first export financing deal with Development Bank of
Mongolia
VTB Bank with the support of the Russian Agency for Export Credit and
Investment Insurance (EXIAR), has issued the first USD 65.4 million loan under
the programme of financing export deliveries to Mongolia. The borrower is the
Development Bank of Mongolia, which is acting with governmental guarantees
issued by the Ministry of Finance. VTB previously launched a three year credit
facility in the amount of USD 300 million for the Mongolian bank. The money will
be used to finance purchasing of Russian oil products for the growing
Mongolias mining industry.

GE Mining Seeks Up to $1b Sales to Erdenes Mongol Over 10 Years

GE Mining sees pipeline of opportunity for as much as $1b in equipment and
service deals with Erdenes Mongol LLC over next seven to ten years, Mohamed D.
Butt, CEO of GE Transportation Asia Pacific, says in Ulaanbaatar. GE Mining, unit
of GE Transportation, signs MOU with Erdenes Mongol to form strategic
partnership. GE Mining will bid for tenders made by Erdenes Mongol says Mr.
Butt.

Ard Financial Group JSC increases interest in Ard Insurance LLC
Ard Financial Group JSC increased its 55.31% stake in the Ard Insurance LLC to
83.03%. Former holders BluePlanet LLC and citizen D.Chuluuntsetseg sold their
positions to the Group.

USAID to assist SMEs in collaboration with Development Solutions NGO

USAID is partnering with Development Solutions NGO to implement the REACH
project to strengthen SMEs to qualify for loan requirements and to facilitate 500
loans worth US$25 million until April, 2018. Core activities include: to identify
SMEs needs on access to credit capacity building; to provide technical assistance
to SMEs in preparation for loan applications; to build partnerships with
government agencies and private stakeholders; to operate loan facilitation service
centers in 5 provinces and to organize "SME Access to Credit" annual forum.

Gold Market Ignores Yellen, Tracks Decline in Brexit Odds

Even Janet Yellen cant seem to distract the gold market from this weeks Brexit
vote. In congressional testimony, the Fed chair signaled that her optimism in the
U.S. economy had softened. The gold market, which has surged this year as bets
on flagging growth and low interest rates boosted demand for the metal as a
haven, took little notice, posting its biggest loss in four weeks amid lower odds
that the U.K. will leave the European Union.
