8. DISCUSSION
The most important literary figure in my country is Miguel de Cervantes. He was born in
Alcal de Henares 29th of September in 1547 and he was died in Madrid 22th of April in
1616.
He was a soldier, novelist, poet and Spanish playwright. He is considerated the most
important person of literature in the word because he wrote Don Quijote de la Mancha.
This book is very popular and the most important book of Miguel. Also he wrote different
important books and poems.
About his life I think is important to resalt that, he was baptized in Alcal de Henares on 9
October 1547 at the parish church of Santa Mara la Mayor. His mother, Leonor de
Cortinas was a native of Arganda del Rey and the third daughter of a nobleman, who lost
his fortune and had to sell his daughter into matrimony. Miguel's father, Rodrigo, was a
barber-surgeon from Crdoba. Little is known of Cervantes early years. It seems he spent
much of his childhood moving from town to town with his family.
In my opinion the theater is a very interesting for me because there are beautiful plays and
the actors perform the plays. I would like to go with my family to see the plays of
Shakespeare's.

SAINT PATRICK
Hello, Kyoko.
I write this postcard about Saint Patrick's day because is an important day for me. Firstly, I
will explain you about Saint Patrick. He was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian
missionary and bishop in Ireland. He is known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary
patron saint of Ireland.
Then I will explain you about Saint Patrick's day. In this day people in Ireland and in many
places go around the world to celebrate this feast on 17th of March. This a national and
important holiday in Ireland. People go to church and then return home to eat a meal with
their family to celebrate. There are many parades and people wear green clothes,
sometimes with a shamrock on them.
In my school, We celebrate Saint Patrick's day wearing green clothes. We see videos of
Saint Patrick in different countries. Finally we sing songs about it.
See you soon, bye.

POSTER OF NELSON

MANDELA MOVIMENT
In my opinion this man was very important and extraordinary. I think that, because he
fought a lot for his country and for his thoughts.
Firstly I think that Mandela was an example of a fighter man in all sense and he also was a
pacific man because he didn't want a war.
Secondly I have learned lot of thinks about him, for example the fad of not giving up and
fight for what do you want. Also I have learned what is the humility and the respect for the
things. He was positive man because he usually forgiven.
Finally I think people will have to meet Mandela for everything he did. So we could get
many positive things and we see the word the different form.
To sum up, this word of Mandela I like it and I have learned a lot important things.
Moreover I like do more things about this time and meet more leaders.
