If you were using an extension cord to connect the refrigerator to the wall
outlet, remove it. This may be damaged or defective. Connect the refrigerator
directly to the outlet. If this solves the problem, replace the defective cable
with one that does work extension. [2]

Check the thermostat is located inside the appliance. If something hit the knob,
it could have changed the configuration, causing the temperature to rise too
much to turn the refrigerator. It is important that you check the temperature of
both parts of the appliance, and contributes to the freezer refrigerator cold.
Therefore, if the freezer had a problem, this will also affect the refrigerator. [5]
The refrigerator temperature should be between 3 and 4 C (37 and 40 F)
and the freezer between -15 and -18 C (0 and 5 F).
Make sure the air flow properly around the electrodomstico.Revisa the space
between the walls and the refrigerator. There should be about 76.2 mm (3
inches) at the sides and at least 25.4 mm (1 inch) between this and ceiling.
This arrangement provides the air flow necessary for operation of the machine.

Check vents. Check for debris or ice vents that are between the freezer and the
refrigerator or in the drain pipe. Rid of waste if necessary. The problem could
be an obstruction. [10]
Check the tray and drain pipe. The liquid damming outside the refrigerator
could be caused by a dirty drain pan. You must clean about 1 once a year. The
standing water in the refrigerator could be caused by a blocked drain tube. To
clean, you must enter a solution of water and baking soda or bleach using a
syringe kitchen. [18]
Before starting to clean the tray and drain you must turn off the refrigerator.

Check the water filter. If this is not properly adjusted, it is possible to allow a
leak. Unplug the refrigerator and then remove and replace the water filter. Also,
check if there is any crack in the head or in the filter housing. To find some, you
have to replace the damaged component. [21]
