THE CLIMATE IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV

(29 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Paradise has a constantly temperate climate, it is neither hot nor cold, but
always warm. There is no day and night, but very faint images reminiscent of day and night
will form for us to enjoy.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT PARADISES?
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV
(26 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: People speak of different paradises, the Paradise of Adnan, the Paradise of
Firdaws. But these may be different parts of Paradise, because everyone will be in the same
Paradise, in the same environment, but people will have different degrees of pleasure. People
will like a flower, or a woman, or food, according to their own inner powers, to their own
power of faith, to the power Allah creates within them. Their delight will differ, but people
will not know that, they will not know they take pleasure differently. They will imagine they
get the same level of pleasure.
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(28 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, there is the Jannat al-Naim, the Paradise of Naim. There is the
Paradise of Firdaws and the Paradise of Adnan. But these paradises are all together and in the
same place. They are like heavenly strata. Like strata placed one on top of the other. It is a
delightful world consisting of lovely homes, glorious greenery, magnificently attractive
people, splendid vehicles and foods, excellent clothing and delightful perfumes and glorious
objects. But we will see all these in the same way we do in this world, of course, as images,
but we will imagine they really exist. We will imagine they exist as we do in this world. I
mean, their real counterparts will still exist on the outside, but we will only have direct
experience with their images. There are many chambers and pavilions in Paradise, one
lovelier than the other. For example, a mansion will have many rooms in it, and there will be
many blessings in each room, a whole string of blessings. Imagine a city, where you turn onto
a road and enter a house and then the rooms in that house, you open a shelf and see something
in it; such a chain of blessings. Well each of the chambers in the mansions of Paradise is like a
whole separate world. When you enter a room, the objects in it are a whole separate world of
their own. We are told that women have clothes to wear, they wear seven different layers of
clothing, though all seven are visible to the onlooker. For example, one can see the first layer,

and if one wishes one can see the second and the third. That is one can see all her seven
different layers of clothing. Men can also be seen with seven different sets of clothes.

OUR PROPHETS (MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM AND GRANT HIM PEACE)
INTERCESSION FOR THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE ON THE DAY OF
RECKONING

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV

(25 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: When believers go to the Hereafter, they will take their place alongside all
the prophets and teachers. For example, our Prophet (saas), that beauty, will be there like a
great light before the Muslim community. Almighty Allah will ask whether or not such and
such a person should enter Paradise. This is intended as a compliment to our Prophet (saas)
and for that person to taste the love of our Prophet (saas). Otherwise, someone destined for
Paradise will enter it, but a style as if they enter Paradise by way of our Prophet (saas) is
employed there. That is known as intercession, inshaAllah. Our Prophet (saas) will say, O
Lord, that is a good person. I intercede for him. He is a believer and very devout. In that way
he enters the Paradise with him inshaAllah. That is intended as a beauty, inshaAllah.
WILL CHRISTIANS OR JEWS BE ABLE TO ENTER PARADISE?
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Lets take the example of a Jew who believes in the Oneness of Allah.
Theres salat and prostration in the Torah. He has a strong fear of Allah and is punctilious
about what is lawful and unlawful and he has not become acquainted with Islam. These
people are known as the Ahl al-Fatrat [People of interregnum]. If such people are very
sincere, very honest in the sight of Allah, one may hope that they may enter Paradise. We
cannot say they cannot go to Paradise, because according to the words of the Quran, Allahs
honest servants will be saved. Allah has provided only one measure, and no more; sincerity.
If Allah regards someone as very sincere they may of course hope to enter Paradise, even if
they are unacquainted with Islam and the Quran. It is impossible for anyone acquainted with
the Quran to hold any other view because the Quran is so clear. An honest person will
immediately admit the fact when he looks at the Quran.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV

(31 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a verse of the Quran which says, The religion with Allah is
Islam. One religion. Islam is the one religion. But Christianity believes in the trinity. Allah
strongly condemns the trinity belief in the Quran. They say that Allah is three (Allah is
beyond this), and that is out of the question. That is incompatible with monotheism. We must
say that Allah is One. It is most important to say that Allah is One. At the moment they are
making a very grave error. That is what it means by the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) smashing the
idols and slaying the pig when he returns. It means he will eliminate belief in the trinity and
will eliminate heretical beliefs, and that he will pronounce on what is lawful and unlawful on
the basis of the Quran. But the Quran says, I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan;
Only My servants who are righteous in the sight of Allah will be saved. Sincere
servants. One has to have sincerity. True sincerity. Being a Muslim is not enough. A Muslim
also has to have sincerity. But even if the People of the Book hold out against the true nature
of the Quran, the ruling in the Quran is clear. Allah knows the truth, but if they reject the
Quran out of pride and lack of consideration, they cannot be Muslims.
But for instance, a person does not know about the Quran, is ignorant, a Christian. He
believes in the Oneness of Allah and performs his salat (prayer) to the best of his knowledge
of the New Testament. The New Testament speaks of salat. He fasts, is careful over what is
lawful and unlawful and believes in the Oneness of Allah. One may hope for such people. If
someone has never been told about the religion, then he is one of the People of Interregnum.
One may hope that such a person will be able to enter Paradise if he is very, very sincere. One
may have hope for a person who has no knowledge, who has never been told or taught about
the religion. But if someone knowingly and deliberately insists on rejecting the Quran even
though he knows it is true, then the pronouncement of the Quran on that is clear, too.
HUMAN CREATION HAS BEEN CREATED IN COMPLIANCE WITH
PARADISE
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV
(3 February 2009)
People like very bright things, do they not? That is why womens clothes are very eyecatching. For example, a diamond on a ring immediately catches the eye. This stems from a
predisposition to Paradise in the human soul. It is given us as an instinct. It is Allah Who
causes us to love those gems. Because we are already instinctively prepared for Paradise, we
are literally hypnotized when we see them. Paradise enters our minds, and we subconsciously
delight in it, albeit all unawares. When we see a green place, for instance, we like it because
of a predisposition to Paradise in us, and we think of ever more perfect versions. Our love of
those precious stones also comes from our heavenly instinct. It is a pleasure that stems from
knowing
Paradise.
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV

(3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: When people pick up an apple, it is never a perfect apple, of course. They
know there will always be the best one. Whoever you ask will know that there can always be
a more perfect apple or cherry or banana. Nobody totally likes his home or clothing, and they
always have the idea of something even better. This is a predisposition to Paradise that is
encoded in people. The human soul is encoded with a predisposition for Paradise. A person is
never satisfied with anything, and never really and truly likes it unless he finds its version in
Paradise. No woman in this world is truly beautiful. People will always feel something is
missing with her. That is, they intensely feel something absent in her. Nobody in this world
ever finds the woman he is looking for, in the physical sense. Though of course there are
women who are very splendid in her spirit. There are people who are very beautiful in soul
and character. But there is much more of what people like in Paradise. Allah creates these
things only very seldom in this world. For example, there is the real gold in Paradise, gold
that is used a great deal. For example, there is very little gold in the gilding on that wood
there, but it catches the eye and we really like it.
ADNAN OKTAR: We really enjoy seeing some gold leaf being used, or a piece of gold
thread embroidery. There is very, very much embroidery in Paradise. That is also created in
our brains. It does exist on the outside, but it is created in our brains and gives us much
pleasure.

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV

(3 February 2009)

One of the delightful aspects of Paradise is this; there are mansions in Paradise that someone
on the outside can see inside, and someone on the inside can see the outside. One feature of
Paradise is that there is crystal all over the place. Light is a beauty that is much used of in
Paradise. Everything sparkles. Everything is finely embroidered and detailed. People are
literally dazzled in Paradise. It is a beauty. That is what people always seek, if you notice.
They always seek bright, sparkling water, transparence. That stems from a subconscious
predisposition to Paradise that Allah bestows. One looks for a lake, albeit a small one. One
looks for a river, though very small one. As long as there is water. People do not know, but
that is an instinct, a predisposition to Paradise. For example, even a bright, sparkling small
gem hypnotizes one. This is a quality of Paradise.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV
(4 March 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course a Muslim will be very tranquil, someone who thinks very
deeply, who is forgiving, affectionate, considerate of those around, who strives for their

happiness, is clean and well groomed and who makes his surroundings pleasanter. At home,
he beautifies his house. He strives to ensure his body is well maintained, that his hair and
clothing are well groomed, to speak nicely, to have pleasant facial expressions, to have a
pleasant voice, for his home to have a pleasant atmosphere, to have good food and music
around, and for everything to be agreeable. Because the believers soul cries out, Paradise!
Paradise! It desires it. And it constantly seeks it in this world. When the believer desires that,
Allah makes everywhere a Paradise for him. Constant perfection is a Muslims ideal.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV
(19 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: People from Paradise come here, people worthy of Paradise. And those
deserving of Hell come from Hell. Because this world is but a single moment. I am saying
that. For example, our Prophet (saas) was already in Paradise. That is, he did not go to
Paradise only later. And our Prophet (saas) is in Paradise now. Our Prophet (saas) was in
Paradise before coming here, before he was born. Therefore, he came to this world from
Paradise.
PEOPLE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE TEST IN THIS WORLD IN
ORDER TO BE HAPPY IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35

(1 February 2009)
People cannot be happy if they go directly to Paradise. They must absolutely go through the
test in this world. If they go to Paradise directly, they will be in the same position as Adam
and Eve. They were not happy in Paradise. They were not happy in that sense. They looked
for novelty. They did not, and were unable to, keep their word to Allah. But after undergoing
this training, after experiencing suffering, hardship, difficulties, loyalty, fortitude, courage and
all kinds of moral virtue, in other words, they then exhibit perfect moral values in Paradise
until eternity, and the inhabitants of Paradise are constantly shown images of Hell. They are
shown on a screen. That ensures they constantly give thanks. Adam was never shown Hell. He
did not see the screen with Hell on it when he was in Paradise. If he had, of course, Allah
appreciates it, but who knows how he would have behaved? But that was his destiny. That is
why people absolutely have to go through this training and be aware of Hell for the perfection
of Paradise and in order to be happy there. Satan is insistently maintaining this claim, this
obstinacy by drawing people into madness and irreligion. For every irreligious person, he tells
Allah, Look what I have done, look what the descendants of Adam you wanted me to
prostrate myself before are doing. Satans aim is a classic model of pride and immorality.
And he is still doing it today.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV

(24 March 2009)

People who entered Paradise directly would have behaved badly. Allah put Adam and Eve in
Paradise, for example, and He put satan in Paradise, and you know what happened. That is
what happens if you go there without training. Allah shows us that. He says in the Quran that
Adam and Eve were disobedient. That He did not regard them as having a stable character.
They were not loyal to their word. But satan behaves totally psychopathically. But after
training, people are proper believers. In the Quran, Allah says, I seek refuge in Allah from the
cursed satan: Return to your Lord, well-pleasing and well-pleased! Enter among My
servants! Enter My Garden. Because Allah says, O self at rest and at peace. That is
how it starts, that means stabilized. We are balanced out here, and we learn moral virtues,
love, affection, fortitude and courage. These will all be the subjects of conversations when we
go to Paradise. He says that they sit on thrones and hold conversations. What do people talk
about in Paradise? Things that are done in this world. Details and images from there will be
shown to them. We will discuss the love there, how they strove and struggled, how they
exhibited proper moral virtues, and what the Prophets Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) did.
That is why we will love these excellent people very much, these holy ones.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35

(21 March 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan O self at rest and at
peace. Almighty Allah says, Return to your Lord, well-pleasing and well-pleased!
(having attained balance and moderation) Enter among My servants! Enter My
Garden!. What does this mean? It means we will enter the Hereafter with the training we
have received. But satan will not intervene, meaning that is something extra. There will be
nothing like satans giving us forgetfulness or doubts. We will go with the same conception of
love, affection and care that we have here, now.
NOBODY CAN KNOW WHETHER ANYONE WILL GO TO PARADISE OR HELL
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV
(12 March 2009)
Of course, nobody can know whether anyone will go to Paradise or Hell. You know how they
say that such a person is destined for Paradise or Hell. The person who says that does not
know his destiny, does not know whether he will go to Paradise or Hell. He may go to
Paradise, or he may go to Hell. That is made clear at ones last breath. It is ordained by Allah,
and can never be established beforehand. Sometimes, someone we imagine to be very saintly
may go to Hell, or someone may go to Paradise who one never imagined would ever make it.
In other words, it can never be clear. It is therefore unlawful to issue pronouncements about
people on Allahs behalf. No Muslim can say such things.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35

(21 February 2009)

In the absence of any clear revelation, in the absence of any prophets with books of revelation
saying that someone will go to Paradise, nobody can be certain of the future. But even though
our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was told he would be going to
Paradise, he was still punctilious about his religious observances and obeying Allahs
commands. Muslims will be like that. They will fear Allah, saying they have a fifty-fifty
chance of going to Paradise or to Hell. This is also the root of love and passion. We learn this
passion through love of Allah. Fear of Allah is the origin of profound love.
BELIEVERS WILL CONSTANTLY REMEMBER ALLAH IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35

(7 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: We will constantly praise Allah in the Hereafter, thanks be to Allah.
Alhamdulillah, Allah is beyond any flaws. We will each time be in awe. O Lord, we love you
very much, we will say. We will say we are in love with You. Constant expressions of joy,
Alhamdulillah. How great is Allah, we will say. We will constantly praise Him. Praise of
Allah will predominate in Paradise. But there will be no salat (regular prayer), no fasting.
There will be no giving alms, because everywhere will already be so wealthy. But fear of
Allah will persist. Because people will constantly see Hell. But there will be no question of
believers going to Hell, as believers fear Allah... They will fear Allah under whatever
circumstances. They will fear Allah for all eternity. But they will have a huge appreciation of
Paradise, inshaAllah.
WAS OUR PROPHET (MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM AND GRANT HIM
PEACE) SHOWN PARADISE IN THIS WORLD?

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV

(10 March 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, our Prophet (saas) saw the realm of Hereafter, but Allah did not show
him Paradise. Allah showed him Hell. He saw Hell and gave thanks to Allah, and made his
comparisons. Because having seen Paradise, the influence of this world may be quite
burdensome. That is, having a physical liking for other people or this world may be very
difficult, because one will have compared them with Paradise. That is why our Prophet (saas)
was not shown Paradise while he was in this world.
MARRIAGE IN PARADISE
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35
(1 February 2009)

PRESENTER: In Paradise, will women be married to their husbands in this world?

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. Allah says they will be under the trees with their husbands and
children. Of course they will be with their husbands.
PRESENTER: What if she has been married two or three times?
ADNAN OKTAR: Allah will give her the person with the greatest fear of Allah, he whom
Allah approves of most. That is Allahs criterion. We must look for the greatest measure of
His approval in all things. I mean I could come here, or sit at home, or else go out to the shops
and talk to people. I think Allah will most approve of my coming here, and I think I am doing
the right thing. In other words, something has its most truthful and very best form, that is
what Allah wants. The very best of something is what most meets with Allahs approval. That
will also be the criterion for spouses in the Hereafter. Allah will give them to the person who
most seeks His approval.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(31 March 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: If a persons spouse is pure and immaculate, and if that person has moral
virtue and is a believer, then of course they will be together in Paradise. Almighty Allah
makes that clear in verses. He says they are together with their spouses and children. Of
course they will be together in the Hereafter. People will have children in the Hereafter. A
person will be able to give birth whenever she wants a baby, after a very brief pregnancy. But
it will involve no pain and will happen right away. It will happen the moment they desire it.
ADNAN OKTAR: That is a feature of Paradise.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV
(25 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Let me say that what counts is ones position regarding faith in Allah,
ones degree of belief in Allah. It does not matter to Allah whose spouse it is. For example,
Abu Lahabs wife shared the same mindset and mentality, for which reason she was put in the
same place.
ADNAN OKTAR: But Pharaohs wife was a believer and a chaste woman, and one worthy
of Paradise. She left him, and did not espouse his views. She did not espouse his logic, his
immoral philosophy. She followed along with the Prophet Moses (pbuh), and Allah has sent
her to Paradise. The Prophet Noahs wife, for instance, was a most abnormal woman, and
Allah has put her in Hell. Allah separated her from Noah (pbuh). Lots wife was the same, and
an unbeliever. Allah separated them. We can see from these few examples that it is fear of
Allah to which Allah attaches importance.
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, an immoral person has a wife, a chaste believer. That
woman leaves her husband, and Allah does not regard their union as valid. He separates them
in the Hereafter. She counts as single in the Hereafter, and Allah will marry her to a male

believer who has fear of Allah, whoever He regards as most desirous of His approval.
Therefore, Allahs approval is the main criterion in such matters.

THE MUTUAL LOVE OF THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (14 March2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: In fact, Allah shows what we are. Allah appears to test what we are, but
that is not actually the case. Looked at it in terms of ilm al-ladun, the knowledge of Divine
Providence, that is not the case. Because Allah knew what we would do, He has sent us to
Paradise or to Hell. So there is actually no question of us being tested, of Allah investigating
and learning about us. Allah already knows about us. He shows us to ourselves, shows us
what we are. And we will experience the joy of that in Paradise. We will say we rendered such
and such a service, did this and that, but in fact, it is Allah Who engages in these deeds. For
example, you are now exhibiting virtuous behavior, and inshaAllah you will go to Paradise.
If I see you have gone to Paradise, then, Allah willing, I will love you even more there.
Because I will see the sacrifices you have made, I will see your virtues and lovable nature, I
will know them in this world. Since I will go there with that knowledge, it will remain with
me for ever, and I will therefore love you for ever with that knowledge. For example, one has
a spouse. One sees their moral virtue. And that stays with one for ever. That is why a man
loves his wife more than he does houris. It is because of that knowledge. Because he has seen
her altruism, her courage, her fortitude, her kindness, her religious observances and all other
kinds of behavior. Since he has absorbed that information, it will remain with him for all
eternity, and he will also love that knowledge. But that is not the case with houris. He sees no
virtue in houris in this world. Houris have to be virtuous in the Hereafter. That is why people
love their wives far more in the Hereafter. Because they see much more manifestations of
Allah in her, they are in a more acceptable position.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(20 January 2009)
For example, our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) refers to himself and
adds Hamza (pbuh), Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and Hazrat Ali (pbuh) and the companions, saying
we are the sayyid, that is the lords, of the people of Paradise. Why? Because they all
suffered. We will love them for that in the Hereafter. Why do we admire the Prophet Joseph
(pbuh) so much in the Hereafter? Because he suffered hardship. Why do we admire the
Prophet Moses (pbuh)? Because he suffered hardship. Because they displayed a powerful love
of Allah, because they felt such an intense and fervent love.
PARADISE AND HELL ARE ALSO CREATED IN ILLUSORY FORM
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON AKS TV

(14 April 2009)

For example, when we look at the gardens of Paradise we will lose our senses from love. The
same is with its furniture, food and drink. But, the truth of the matter is that, all of these things
will be bestowed as images. But people will not know they are images. They will be bestowed
in the greatest clarity. One will be unable even to wonder whether they might be mere images.
Nobody will have the power to do that. But these things will be given as images. They will
exist on the outside, but that is how people will perceive them. They will perceive them in
their brains, heads and souls. But the originals, matter, will exist on the outside in Paradise.
The original of matter does exist in the outside world.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV

(3 February 2009)
Our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) says the mansions of Paradise
resemble crystal. People move in and out of them. There are small streams all around, small
streams of Paradise. Paradise consists of layers. Paradise consists of perfect houses, more
beautiful than one can ever imagine. We are given a glimpse in this world. The houses of this
world are still created in our brains and the dwellings of Paradise will also be created in our
brains. The birds and animals of Paradise, everything, will be created in our brains. We can
never have direct experience of the original of Paradise. There is an original, external
Paradise, but we will always experience the images of it.
SIGHT IS VERY SHARP IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV

(25 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: For instance, we now see the world, but although it is three-dimensional,
the image we see is two-dimensional. That is a deficiency of this world. In Paradise the image
will be very sharp and three-dimensional. It will be very clear. It is a very sound phenomenon.
All senses, sounds and tastes, will be very sharp and distinct. There is some kind of blurriness
in this world. You cannot hear a sound that is far away, but in Paradise you will hear even the
most distant noise. You can see the furthest object in Paradise. Myopic eyes are very weak in
this world, a weakness given to human beings. For example, you can detect the most far-off
scent. You can reach the furthest thing instantaneously. You do not say it is too far away to get
to. For example, you see a friend in the distance, and you are by his side the next moment. He
might be 1 million kilometers away, but you are still with him instantaneously.
ADNAN OKTAR: There is a speed that is even greater than that of light. The speed of
imagination. With the speed of the imagination, a person reaches his destination immediately,
while one still needs to follow a specific route when traveling at the speed of light. But not

there, which is created so one can be there instantaneously. By Allahs leave, these things will
happen. It is useful for us to know the general logic behind all these things, though much
more comprehensive information is available of course on the www.harunyahya.com and
www.harunyahya.org web sites.

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON AKS TV (14 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah says that vision is sharper in the Hereafter, that people will see more
clearly in three dimensions. We can only see clearly for 400-500 meters, after which things
are blurred. But in the Hereafter even things 3 or 10 kilometers away will be very sharp and
clear. Allah says that our vision on that day will be very sharp. It will have an extraordinary
nature.

DIRECT CAUSES WILL BE DONE AWAY WITH IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON AKS TV
(14 April 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: People have no internal organs. But their eyes see, their ears hear, and
these things reach the brain. People will see directly without the need for anything. All natural
causes will be done away with. For example, a car will run by itself without having an engine
or any petrol in it. It will just go by itself. There will be illumination. Things will be
illuminated without the Sun. The objects in Paradise light themselves. The Sun is needed in
this world, a direct cause, but since there are no such direct causes in the Hereafter, things will
illuminate themselves in the absence of direct causes. Allah says that fruit and vegetables
never decrease in quantity. The moment a piece of fruit is picked, another piece appears. You
can eat as much as you like and it will be replaced. Paradise is the abode of happiness.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV
(25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah says of Paradise that no earthly desire has tasted and no eye
seen it. It is utterly amazing and most beautiful. One of the best features of Paradise is that
nowhere grows old or fades, and everything is positive. As you know, everything is created
with its opposite in this world.

ADNAN OKTAR: Like good and bad or day and night, in Paradise there will be only
positive aspects. That is the artistry of Allah. The gate of Paradise is uniquely beautiful. You
look at the doors of the houses and they are all separately decorated. The chairs have a beauty
of their own. So we look at those beauties and give constant thanks to Allah. The human soul

burns with love of Allah in Paradise. You look at a pitcher in Paradise and you give thanks to
Allah. You can even talk to it. You can tell it to turn a bit to the right and it will do so. And if
you tell it bring you a cool drink, it will bring you one. Pour it out, you say, and it will pour it
into a glass. Go back to your place you say, and back it goes. Paradise is very pleasant and
entertaining like that. Allah has created it specially to be like that. But in this world we are
bound by direct causes. I cannot bring something to me without stretching my hand out for it.
I am bound by direct causes.

ADNAN OKTAR: Yet it is not my hand that brings it here. Allah creates that in my head. He
creates my hand as the direct cause.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV
(12 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR:... There are always direct causes here. For instance, were it not for the
camera here they could not see me, but there is no need for cameras in Heaven. It is created
without direct causes. For example, in Paradise your brother can look and see you, in other
words there is no need for a camera system.
ADNAN OKTAR: For instance, it is enough for him to wish to see someone to see them. The
image forms. But here, you have to turn on the television, press the buttons, and there have to
be cameras and lighting. Several direct causes have to be created, and that eliminates our free
will.
ADNAN OKTAR: In other words, since we are tested, if we obtained images of everywhere
without cameras everyone would believe, and the test would be lifted. Satellite antenna and
cameras are used as instruments so the test should continue, and people are not visible to us in
their homes without satellite antennae and cameras. Images are created as a miracle in every
home. Allah creates them as a miracle in every home. He uses the camera and satellite
systems as His instruments. He creates them so people will regard the phenomenon as quite
normal, though the fact is that images are directly created in everyones brain.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV

(3 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, he says, there are such mansions in Paradise that people on
the inside can see the outside, and those on the outside can see the inside. A mansion made
entirely out of crystal, for instance. One day, the Messenger said there are such mansions in
Paradise that there were no hooks to hold them up and no pillars to prop them up. The people
who heard this asked how the inhabitants would enter those mansions. The Messenger (may
Allah bless him and grant him peace) said they would fly in like birds. But here, of course,
we need an engine to fly from one place to another, or a propeller, we need a direct cause. We
fly, but using vehicles to do so. Those vehicles do not apply in Paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is no need for any vehicle. Everything happens by people just
thinking of it. Like in a dream, for instance; when we want to fly we use a plane, we get in a
vehicle and go to the airport and board the plane, and we fly by means of the engine of the
plane. The plane then lands, in Ankara say. We get our bags and alight. We experience this all
very perfectly. We later realize we were asleep and it was all a dream. But the plane there
needs no petrol or diesel or anything.
ADNAN OKTAR: That is what Paradise is like.
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(3 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: This is also the case in this world. For example, I want to drink some tea.
It appears that I stretch my hand out for it, though it is actually Allah Who brings the cup to
my lips. My hand does not bring the tea to me, Allah just uses it as a direct cause. It is also
Allah Who creates the tea in the cup. A person cannot do this. It is a law of Allah, but one that
everyone who makes a deep use of his mind can comprehend. Otherwise, a person who
becomes caught up with superficial direct causes imagines that everything is the result of such
direct causes. He imagines that biscuits come from a factory, or meat from the butchers shop.
But Allah creates the meat. It is crated at that moment. You imagine it comes from the store,
but Allah uses the store as a direct cause. Tables are laid. Allah sets all tables. Tables are set as
a miracle, but people are unaware of this because of the direct causes involved. Since these
direct causes do not apply in Paradise, tables are set all of a sudden, fruit forms
instantaneously. There are no direct causes involved in an object going from one place to
another. For instance, the cars in Paradise need no engine and petrol, they just move
spontaneously. Cars in this world do need engines and petrol, though. There need to be direct
causes for them to move. If cars were to move without engines and petrol, people would no
longer enjoy the use of their free wills and would have to have faith. But since there is no test
in Paradise there are no direct causes, either. Everything moves of its own accord. People just
have to think of it, to imagine it, for it to happen.
EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUS IN PARADISE, EVEN OBJECTS
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV
(8 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: All the objects in Paradise are intelligent, they all have understanding. In
order for us to turn the television on here, for instance, we press the remote and it comes on.
But it is again Allah Who turns the television on. A miracle takes place, though Allah appears
to use the remote as a direct cause. But there are no such direct causes in Paradise. For
example, if you tell that flower bowl to come to you, it does so. You pick a fruit from its tree,
and as soon as you do so it reappears in the tree. You eat food for instance, as you keep eating
that food it keeps reappearing in the dish. And that is perfectly logical, because Allah creates
it as an image in our brains. Matter does exist on the outside, but we have direct experience of

an image of it in our brains. And it is logical for the image not to come to an end. It would be
a miracle if the image did come to an end, for the food we are eating to be finished. For
example, there is no dust or dirt in Paradise. There is no blurring in anything we normally
experience as an image. We watch a film and there is no blurring. Even if you watch the film
a thousand times it will still be pristine and the image will never be spoiled. Allah says that in
the Hereafter. He will cause Muslims to live in the very finest places. Allah is referring to
mansions. To the tents of Paradise. These are the most lovely places one can imagine, perfect
images created instinctively. When we eat fruit, we will say this is the fruit we have always
been longing for. When we see a woman there, we will say that she is the kind of woman we
have always longed for. When we see a house we will say that is the kind of house we have
always longed for. Allah says there are small rivers, streams of gold running in gentle curves,
as well as bigger rivers. People have a natural love of water, and Allah creates this as an
instinct. For example, the sea lifts our spirits when we see it. Houses built on places with
views of the sea or along the sides of lakes are always more expensive, arent they? Allah
bestows this as a heavenly instinct. We have an instinct that draws us to water, a love of water.
We have a love of beautiful places, but this is never satisfied in this world, though it still
exists as an instinct inside us. For instance, there are no perfect women in this world, and no
perfect homes or perfect fruit, but we still feel these instinctively. When we eat an apple, we
say that there must be better fruit than this somewhere, but we cannot find. Yet in Paradise
there is the best of everything.
ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV
(13 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, you pick an apple, but that apple is still on the branch. You
eat, but you are not satisfied, and there is always food in the bowl. You tell the bowl to come
to you, and up it gets. It is intelligent. Everything is intelligent. In fact, the mind of Allah is
everywhere, but He does not put it into action for us here. That is what happened with the
Prophet Moses (pbuh) staff. The mind and power of Allah are everywhere. The might of
Allah was also in the Prophet Moses (pbuh) staff. Moses (pbuh) cast the staff down and Allah
turned it into a snake that very moment. This is something quite extraordinary. He then told
the Prophet Moses (pbuh) to pick it up, and when he did so it straightaway turned back into a
staff. Wood turns into a snake, and then the snake turns back into wood. That is also how it is
in Paradise. Everything is conscious. For instance, whenever one wants to fly somewhere one
can do so. One can fly through the air with no wings and using no vehicle. One can travel
where one wants to be instantaneously, one just has to think of it. One can travel somewhere
hundreds of thousands of kilometers away in a very short space of time, in less than a second,
momentarily. Since there is no space, Allah will create the place for us instantaneously. In
other words, it will form in peoples brains. There will be matter on the outside, but it will
form in peoples brains.
ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV
(12 March 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: Objects move, whatever object you ask a question it will give you a
proper answer. You ask how it is, and it will say it is very well. Cats and dogs and rabbits. You

ask what they are up to, and they will say they are walking around, thanks be to Allah. You
call them to and they will come and sit on your shoulder. You can talk with them, and then
send them off. But that consciousness exists only in Paradise.

WILL THE DJINN AND ANGELS BE VISIBLE TO PEOPLE IN

PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTARS LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV

(25 February 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: There is no need for them not to be seen. Of course they will be visible.
They will appear in the guise of normal, attractive human beings. Because they are also our
believer brethren. They listen to our talk and benefit from us and they also read the Quran.
But they will be visible there. Demons are not visible here, but they will be visible in Hell,
they will all be visible.
MUSLIMS SOLE AIM IS TO EARN THE APPROVAL OF ALLAH, AND
ALLAH WILL GRANT US PARADISE IF HE SO CHOOSES

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV

(29 January 2009)
ADNAN OKTAR: ... True believers go to Paradise, and I tell people the secret of that. But
one does not worship Allah simply in order to get to Paradise and be happy. One performs
ones religious observations to earn His approval. Ones sole aim is the approval of Allah. A
believers sole aim is the approval of Allah. But if He grants us Paradise, that is a blessing
from Him. We are content with whatever Allah may give us. We are content with all outcomes
and we submit to Allah. A believer will still be content with Allah if He sends him to Hell. Or
to Paradise. Allah forbid, but even if a believer goes to Hell he will still burn with the love of
Allah there. But believers will not go to Hell. I am saying that for reasons of clarity, otherwise
nobody who burns with love of Allah will go to Hell.
