1. Professor/Addl. Director
Mode of recruitment: Direct recruitment failing which by deputation/absorption.
Deputation/absorption will be made only from the serving officers of Central/State
Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies.
Minimum Qualifications: Essential: PhD. Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Applied
Science in subjects relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and 10 years
experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; OR Post Graduate degree in
Engineering/ Technology/Science/ Applied Science
in subjects relevant to packaging with
good academic record throughout and 15 years experience in teaching/ industry/ research
in related subjects. Experience will be counted in teaching subjects related to Packaging/working in
packaging or package user industry/organizations dealing packaging development , research,
standardization etc . Desirable: Possession of PG Diploma in packaging..
2. Associate Professor/Jt. Director
Mode of recruitment: Direct recruitment failing which by deputation/absorption.

Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies.
Minimum Qualifications: Essential: PhD. Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Applied

Engineering/ Technology/Science/ Applied Science

3. Assistant Professor/Dy. Director
Mode of recruitment: Direct recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Science/Applied Sciences or Bachelors degree in
Engineering/Technology in the field related to packaging. The candidate should have at least 8 years
experience in industry/training/testing/consultancy etc. OR Graduate in Science/Applied Sciences +
PG Diploma in Packaging with at least 10 years industrial experience preferably in a packaging
related industry/testing /training/consultancy etc.

Secretary

Mode of recruitment: Direct recruitment failing which by deputation/absorption.

Deputation/absorption will be made only from the serving officers of Central/State
Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies.
Minimum Qualifications: Law Graduate having at least 10 years experience
of
administering/implementing Company Law, HR, Procurement, legal matters etc. Proficiency in
computer operations. Desirable: Certificate in Company Secretarys course.

5. Assistant Secretary
Mode of recruitment: Direct recruitment failing which by deputation/absorption.
Deputation/absorption will be made only from the serving officers of Central/State
Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a reputed Institution /University and a Law Graduate (or
an integrated law course after senior secondary education) having at least 8 years experience of
administering/ implementing Company Law, HR, Procurement, legal cases etc. Proficiency in
computer operations is desirable. Qualified Company Secretary would be preferred.
6. Technical Assistant
Minimum Qualifications : Graduate in Science/Applied Sciences in the subjects related to packaging
with proficiency in computer operations and having three year experience in packaging operations
or in a R& D Laboratory related to packaging
General Guidelines:
1. Guidelines shall be carefully read before filling up the prescribed format.
2. Application format can be downloaded from our website www.iip-in.com .
3. Those who have applied earlier need not apply again except for technical assistant post.
4. Enclose attested copies of credentials/ certificates along with applications.

Entries shall be made in block letters or typed wherever possible.

6. If space for any entry is inadequate, separate sheets can be attached to the Application Form
and reference to these attachments (as annexure A, B, C etc.) shall be indicated at the
appropriate places.
7. Persons serving in Govt./PSUs should send their applications either through proper channel OR
shall furnish N.O.C at the time of Interview.
8. Age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
9. Number of vacancies may likely to be changed in future.
