Project Description
Community garden on Museum land
specific to plants, foods and herbs of the
Attawandaron people and heritage.
Purchase of 2 large bike racks for free bike
valet service at local community events to
encourage more bike use.
Purchase of outdoor movie equipment for
weekly summer community movie events
for upcoming years. Equipment available
to local neighbourhood groups.
Free one day event Oct. 29, 2016 in
Jorgenson park and area to celebrate the
season. Activities include pumpkin carving,
wagon ride and scarecrow building Oct. 1st
Outdoor mural on a Horton St. building
designed and created by residents to
enhance the streetscape.

Mural paintings on four Bell Canada panel


boxes to beautify the neighbourhood.
Community Halloween Party in River East
Park and area with haunted house, BBQ,
family games and dance.
Outdoor sand pit and seating area as part
of the naturalized play space on school
grounds which are open to the public.
