The whole world was at war in 1939-1945 because of

germany wanting to get revenge from losing the first
world war.On the first of September 1939 over a million
nazis invaded Poland,Poland had two major allies being
France and Great Britan who already had problems with
Germany becasue of them taking over
Czechoslovakia.Great britan told Germany to back off
Poland by the 3rd of September but Germany did not
listen so Great Britan and France declared war on
Germany.Germany also had allies in Japan and Itay they
were called the Axis powers while G.B. and france
were called the Allies.
The leader of Great britan at the time was Winston
Churchill he was in charge of the navy at the start of the
war.On the 10th of May in 1940 Winston became the
British Prime Minister after the resignation of Neville
Chamberlain.Winston made the british people have better
morale and encouraged people with his powerful speeches
we shall go on to the end,he said ,we shall never
surrender.Adolf Hitler was the leader of the nazi party

and ruled Germany with a iron fist.He blamed the jewish

people for the loss of the first world war so he started to
kill all the people he saw as being inferior,including
disabled people and relogions he didnt like.This mass
killing of jewish people and others is called the
Holocaust.
The U.S was not really in the war they were just
providing weapons for the Allies but Axis powers didnt
like this so Japan attacked.On December 7,1941 just
before 8 a.m. hundreds of Japanese fighter planes attacked
Pearl Harbor near Honolulu,Hawaii.Nearly 2,000
American soldiers and sailors died in the attack.Japan
destroyed 20 American naval vessels and 8 battleships
and more than 300 airplanes.The day after the attack U.S.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war on
Japan.Germany and Italy also declared war,America
finally joined World war II.
Major battles and important dates in World War II
a major battle in World War 2 was the Battle of
Normandy which is not what is referred to as d-day. this
was the day that United States and and the other allied
powers took back France from German rule. United States

and Great Britain used a whole bunch of military

equipment such as planes boats battleships and foot
soldiers. Germany was ready for this is how they had
barricades on the shores of Normandy and doctors with
machine guns inside and anti-aircraft machine guns. the
United States would not quit until they took over
Normandy so they kept fighting and fighting until they
took it over. another important date in World War II was
the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Germany
has been defeated and it early was taken care of so the last
part of the Axis powers was Japan and then fight with the
samurai cold which said they will never surrender. United
States have to think of a way to get rid of Japan fast and
easy. they came up with the atomic bomb which cost them
two billion dollars to create, they would try of these
bombs in Claire's basis like Nevada or California where
nobody will get injured or be in the blast radius. on
August 1945 United States drop the bombs on Hiroshima
and Nagasaki.Barnes killer over 80,000 people instantly
in 40,000 people were wounded or injured due to the bar
on people say at this bomb ass ended the war and that's
some people say that the bomb Was overkill because I still
affects people in Japan to this day people suffer from from
mental illness or diseases and other bad stuff.

Japan surrendered after the atomic bombs and this mark

the end of World War 2. The Allied powers were able to
get rid of the Axis powers one by one first Italy then
Germany then Japan. World War 2 let the whole world in
destruction due to all the fighting the nuclear bombs in
Japan. World War 2 was really just hell on earth to
everybody from the people working in the new shops to
people working on the front lines and even the people
who are just at home. World War 2 is a day in history that
will never be forgotten it is a very incident to remember.
