SKY WATCHING

Stars are the most widely recognized astronomical objects and

represent the most fundamental building blocks of galaxies. Stars are born
within the clouds of dust and scattered throughout most galaxies. These
ideas come from NASA SCIENCE ANTROPHYSICS. I looked these information
was part of my narrative report.
In May 6. 2016 in the evening at exactly 9:07, we done preparing our
food, because we were going to the place were we conduct star watching
that was a Queen Elizabeth Resort while we were walking together with my
classmates and our professor Mr. Bonifacio Catantan our subject teacher in
astronomy. He was the one who guide us on what were going to do in our
activity. At exactly 9:10 in the evening we started our activity.
My first impression in the area, As I observed it was a very nice place,
a perfect place to conduct our activity which was star watching while we
walking I looked at the sky and starting to looked for the different colors of
the star. I saw a three colors of stars a blue, red and yellow in one bright big
star. According to our professor, the star having three colors it was on the
stage of death because they dont have elements which were a helium and
hydrogen. I saw a big yellow star, a small blue start twinkling in the sky.
We decided to lie down in the sand at exactly 9:16 we were busy
thinking how a beautiful star was. I was amaze when the star sparks. Later
on at 9:22 we saw a shooting star, one blink of an eye it will fade easily.
There were some stars a big and small but they have different colors and
also have a different brightness. Another shooting star come out at exactly
9:39, according to our teacher mostly shooting star come out on the month
of June.
Recommendation/ Conclusion
Therefore I conclude that a stars born millions a ago and it also can be dead
when they dont have a hydrogen and helium. They also have a different
shape, size and different brightness. If the was small and the brighter of the
star was not really bright the star was far in the earth but if the star having a
huge size and the brightness was very good in our eyes it was near to the
earth. Astronomers define star brightness in terms of apparent magnitude (how bright the star
appears from Earth) and absolute magnitude (how bright the star appears at a standard distance
of 32.6 light years, or 10 parsecs).

BEACH ASSESSMENT

Bantayan Island was located north of Cebu Island from Cebu City. It has 3 hours by
hours by boat (passenger or barge) Beach front resorts are mostly found in Santa Fe north and
south of the pier. The white sand beach shoreline in the Santa Fe Bantayan curves gently towards
the south.
In May 5, 2016 at exactly 4:30 in the morning, we were already in the port of
Bangquerohan and as I noticed all of us were excited to saw Bantayan Island was. In 9:00 in the
morning the coast guard announced that we need to wear our life jacket we were tavelling to
Bantayan Island. Then 3 hours of travel, finally we reach our destination. In 4:00 oclock in the
afternoon we started or activity which was to assist the beautiful beaches of the Bantayan.
The first beach that we visited was the Queen Elizabeth Resort it was simple but it has a
unique arrangement of their facilities. As I observed there were lots of beaches in Bantayan
Island but they have a different way on how to encourage tourist to come in their beach. Based
on my observation the best beach that I saw was the Ogtong Cave Resort it was like a paradise
especially when you saw one of the facilities of the beach they have a natural cave. Another
beach resort was the Budyong beach was having white sand and it can be your stress reliever.
They also have affordable cottages and foods.
My two classmates and I we went to a place near to Ogtong Cave the place was good and
beautiful but before you reach that place you need to climb or pass through the sharp rock before
reaching the beautiful seashore down there. It has a small cave.
Recommendation/ Conclusion
Therefore I conclude that even if there are lots of beaches in Bantayan Island the owner
was not tired or not planning to stop renovation to beautify their facilities because they were
given a beautiful spot. Most of the tourist was all foreigners in different countries, some of them
were the owner of the resort.

CAVE ASSESSMENT

Ogtong Cave is one of the best beautiful cave in Bantayan Island. In May 6, 2016 at
exactly 9:00 in the morning we all done preparing all we need for the next activity in the Ogtong
Cave. I was thought that Ogtong Cave was simple and I was thought also the cave was in far and
we need barge reaching the cave but I was surprise and also amaze when one of my classmates
told us that the cave was near in the swimming pool area. The cave was peaceful and almost of
the people inside was enjoy.
We can saw an organism one of the organism in the cave was the bats. Bats were one of
the organism tat found in the cave because most of bats were nocturnal. This mean that they need
safe places to sleep during the day because caves can provide shelter in which the bats in thrive.
The water was clean and you can say that the water was combining with freshwater and
seawater because it was obviously near in the sea. The Ogtong Cave has a stalactites stones it
was from the ceiling of a cave and also it was a rough and the stalactite form of a rough long
rock. The cave has a stalagmites it was a stone where can saw in the under water.
The cave was dark and you need to use flashlight if you want to saw what organisms might
have inside the cave.

Recommendation/ Conclusion
Therefore I conclude that if the cave has a bat there is no snake, because we all know that the
snake is the predator and the bat serves as the prey. Bat is not harmful animals because they did
not attack human because they are prefer to eat other organism.
