SECUENCIA DIDCTICA
INICIO (10 minutos)
El docente ingresa al aula y saluda a los estudiantes diciendo: Good morning /
Good afternoon, segn sea el caso.
El docente coloca en la pizarra las siguientes imgenes (anexo 1). Le pregunta
a los estudiantes:
Whats this? (pointing to the lottery ticket)
Is the man happy or sad? Why do you think?
What is he doing?
What do you think is the story you are going to read about?

Algunos voluntarios dicen sus respuestas en voz alta. El docente las anota en la
pizarra.
Se solicita a los estudiantes que se junten en grupos de cuatro para realizar la
siguiente actividad. Cada grupo recibe un sobre con una historia recortada
(anexo 2).
Se indica a los estudiantes que debern poner la historia en orden.
Se modela algunos ejemplos con el inicio de la historia para que los estudiantes
sepan que cmo realizar la actividad.

Al trmino de la actividad, toda la clase corrige la actividad.


El docente consolida la informacin e indica que hoy harn un repaso de lo
aprendido en la semana.
DESARROLLO (25 minutos)
Se coloca en la pizarra la siguiente lectura:
Janet and Claudio Torres from Ica won the lottery last Tuesday morning.
Five days later they looked at the lottery numbers on the newspaper and
they were so happy. After receiving the money, they decided to travel to
Cusco and Loreto. They spent five days in each place. They visited lots of
tourist attractions, ate typical food and met people from different
countries. With the money left, they bought presents for their family.
Se pide a dos estudiantes que lean el texto en voz alta para la clase.
Luego los estudiantes responden las siguientes preguntas en pares:
What did they win?
What did they do with the money?
What did they do with the money left?
Algunos estudiantes voluntarios dicen las respuestas en voz alta para toda la
clase. Todos corrigen la actividad.
Se explica a los estudiantes que recibirn una ficha para reforzar lo aprendido
en la semana: Simple past (anexo 3).
Al trmino de la actividad, comparan sus respuestas en pares. Toda la clase
verifica las respuestas.
CIERRE (15 minutos)
El docente solicita a los estudiantes que se junten en grupos de cuatro para
realizar una actividad ldica (Simple Past Board Game). Para ello, se les entrega
el juego impreso en cartulina, de ser posible (anexo 4).
Los estudiantes utilizan un objeto pequeo para que los represente en el juego.
Un estudiante lanzar el dado y de acuerdo al nmero que saque avanzar los
casilleros. En cada casillero que el estudiante pare, deber responder a la
pregunta que figura.

El docente modela algunos ejemplos para verificar que hayan comprendido la


actividad.
Gana el estudiante que responda apropiadamente las preguntas y llegue al
casillero Finish.
