natin, tama ba ang pinagbigyan natin ng ating nagiisang

na mga araw mula ngayon.
Nais kong samantalahin ang pagkakataon na
magpasalamat sa inyong lahat na bumoto at sumuporta sa
ating demokrasya. Pero hindi pa po tapos ang ating
responsibilidad bilang mamamayan.
Simula bukas, sama-sama tayong magmamanman at
magbabantay ng magiging mga kilos ng ating mga ibinotong
mga liders. Sa mga dadating na araw makikita at malalaman
na natin kung tama ba na sila ang iniluklok natin sa pwesto
o nabola na naman tayo. Para sa akin, tuloy ang buhay
serbisyo sa QC magmula sa araw na ito.
Ang eleksyon ay isang karanasan na pare-pareho nating
pinagdaanan na sana ay pare-pareho din nating mapagkunan
ng aral dahil marami pang ganitong karanasan ang darating
sa atin.
Sana may maging pagbabago sa mga susunod na
pagkakataon. Ang COMELEC ang unang dapat na mag-im-
prove at hindi yung lagi na lang tuwing eleksyon ay humihingi
sila ng pasensya, pangunawa at sakripisyo ng taong bayan.
Sana mag-mature na sila at maging tunay na maasahan at
mapagkakatiwalan.
Tayo rin bilang mga botante ay maraming dapat natutunan.
Sa susunod na halalan huwag natin kalimutan ang karanasan
natin sa Halalan 2010 nang sa gayon ay may makita tayong
magandang pagbabago sa susunod nating magiging katulad
na karanasan.

AQUINO, BINAY LEAD COMELEC TALLY

C. Aquino III is leading his rivals in the presi-
dential race, based on a partial and unoffi-
cial consolidation of data from election re-
turns as of 9:36 p.m.
Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino vice-presiden-
tial bet Jejomar Binay was leading the vice
presidential race in a Commission on Elec-
tions (Comelec) tally based on 45.05 percent
of election returns nationwide.
Aquino and Binay continued to lead the
presidential and vice-presidential races, also
based on the partial and unofficial tallies of
the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible
Voting (PPCRV) of the May 10 nationwide
automated election.
The PPCRV said it has tallied the votes in
3,447 of a total of 76,475 clustered precincts
nationwide.
Aquino led the presidential race with 525,118
votes, accounting for 39.01% of total votes
counted. He was followed by Pwersa ng Masang
Pilipino's Joseph Estrada with 359,904 votes,
accounting for 26.74% of total votes tallied.
Third in the race is Nacionalista Party stan-
dard-bearer Manny Villar with 241,989, or
17.98%.
The Comelec results were similar to par-
tial and unofficial data from the PPCRV, the
citizens' arm of the poll body. The PPCRV
count showed the same trend with Aquino
and Binay getting ahead of their rivals.
Voting in the country's first automated elec-

tions was expected to close at 7 p.m. Monday
in 76,347 clustered precincts nationwide.
The first round of unconsolidated pre-
cinct results are expected to be posted in
the official Comelec website by 10 p.m. Mon-
day, Comelec spokesman James Jimenez
said.
He added that the bulk of the results are
expected at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
As of 10:05 p.m. the GMA Network par-
tial and unofficial tally showed the follow-

and Magsaysay areas.
Garayblas said the city will not
let MMDA’s removal of the ban-
ner unpunished.
