The category of cultural landscape allowed to extend the list


of UNESCO world heritage since its establishment in early 1992
to the present, this nomenclature has safeguarded the most
representative and unique lands from around the world. In our
country, since 2011 cultural landscapes as a category of cultural
heritage of the nation are safeguarded.

For this reason, the Minister of Culture through the Cultural


Landscape held on 16 and 17 November 2016 the International
Seminar on cultural landscape and land management in Lima,
Peru.
The goal is to meet the diverse experiences of cultural
landscapes management at national and international
level in order to promote the study and discussion cultural
landscapes in networks in the world and academia in order to
articulate criteria and benefits of joining efforts in sustainable
management of cultural heritage.
This call is intended to bring together international professionals
and students who have devised, participated or conducted
research on the sustainable management of landscapes and
cultural global territories.

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON

CULTURAL LANDSCAPE
AND LAND MANAGEMENT

To do this, papers from around the world will be received, which


will be evaluated by a scientific technical committee of high
standards that will determine the research speak at the central
event dates , the same that will be complemented by keynote
speakers and the audience; such research will be shared in an
online publication available to all attendees. Finally, conclusions
and commitments institutional actions will be outlined.

Exposition methodology
Expositions type panel, with questions and cross-examination
of interaction, and with a conclusion-summary at the end of
each day of the seminar.

Basic rules
The technical and scientific committee will evaluate papers
for national and foreign professional or researchers; they may
also participate in undergraduate work, masters or doctorate
national or foreign institutions. The presentations will be
individual or co-authored.

The paper will have an extension of 10-15 pages (approximately


6,000 words) in MS Word, and must weigh up to 10mb at most.
An executive summary of 250 words (MS Word) should also be
attached and the full resume the rapporteur. Both the summary
and the paper will be delivered to the participant in the central
public event dates.

Submission and evaluation


Authors should submit their papers to email paisajecultural@
cultura.gob.pe until April 30, 2016. The abstracts will be
reviewed by members of the thecnical scientific committee,
accepted papers will be informed by e-mail on May 31, 2016.

Programming
Submission of papers:
From 30 January to 30 April 2016.
Evaluation results for proposals:
May 31, 2016.
Registration of participation:
June 30, 2016.
Registration for online participants:
From 19 September to 15 November 2016.

Dynamic Participation
The event will be held panel type, each speaker will have 40
minutes to present their research then will be discussed by a
group of specialists in the thematic, with a round of questions
from the audience.

Language:
The official language is SPANISH, however, simultaneous
translation can be provided if previously requested.

Welcome to the April 30, 2016

The seminar is open and free to proffesional, officials,


technicians, researchers, institute or universities students and
public in general. Admission is free upon registration on the
website of the Ministry of Culture.

Writing style

Papers should be written on APA style. Must also cite all


references used in research. Any omission or irregularity of the
sources will be grounds to cancel their participation.
