Chua K'a is an ancient Mongolian technique of Ritual

massage.
It's purposes are:
1. To liberate and restore elasticity to the large muscles. These muscles are
used for grasping and taking in the exterior world to the inside. They are the
strong muscles of work; the yang muscles of the body.
2. To give elasticity to the little muscles. This set of lighter, more interior
muscles is used to project the interior to the exterior; these carry the Ki
current out. They are the yin muscles of the body, and must be in balance
with the large muscles.
3. To liberate the body from fear, held subconsciously in the body tissue in the
form of tension and muscle rigidity.
The highest form of massage is working on oneself, correcting our own karmic
mistakes. Only we are afraid of our own pain. Perfume, and then oil each part
of the body as you go, so each step is a separate meditation. Give your
complete attention and awareness to this work.
1. Perfume, applied with emotional, reverent attitude toward the body.
2. Oil. Think deeply in the Kath (navel point).
3. First massage with the hands, calling the force with a caress, and then
going deeper and deeper.
4. Work each muscle separately with hands.
5. Work on the points that are in contact with the bones. All muscles must be
independent of the bones. Between the muscles and bones are the interior
nerves that tell us what the muscles are doing. The muscles need to be free
for these to work.
6. Flex and extend all joints to the maximum range possible.
7. Work with a ka stick*, sculpting and polishing to liberate the muscles and
remove the globules.

Rule: You did not make the body; it does not belong to you. Do not hurt the
body. If done correctly, the feeling is of pleasure on the borderline of pain. If it
is painful, you are putting more fear in, so go with the pleasure. If it feels
good you are correct.
The zones must be done in order, starting with the feet, working first left
then right, alternating all the way up to keep the body in uniform balance.
It is helpful to take Enos Fruit Salts or other alkaline substance during the
massage to aid the elimination of body toxins released in the process.
Each fear remains until released, so be thorough. This is a conscious
liberation of the body.
* The Ka Stick is an irregular shaped stick such as a carved section of round
wood or a piece of driftwood. Shapes should simulate some of the contours
required to get into the spaces between bone and muscle, arm pits, flat areas
with a row of knuckles, etc

I FEET
Feet to base of ankle bones. All the body is represented in the feet. Tension prevents
being connected to the ground.
Fear of Being Oneself is manifested as tension in the feet.

across the side to the Achilles tendon)
7. Stroke from heel to toes with the knuckles.
8. Stroke the heel to the outside of the ball across the arch.
9. Stroke the arch up to the channel near the Achilles tendon.
10. Roll the top of the foot in both directions. (A rolling pinch)(First the top layer, then
deeper, using larger rolls)

11. Ball:
a. Separate the bone and tissue, beginning inside with the big toe and working out
to the arch.
b. Flatten the ball with the palm.
c. Open the channel from the arch to between the big and index toe.
d. Open all the bone channels. (Separate the toes to the arch)
e. Separate and flex all of the toes. (Shake the toes back and forth, one at a time)
f. Hold the ball of the four toes and wiggle the ball of the big toe.
g. With the fingers in between the toes, make pressure with the hand. (Divide the
toes with the fingers in between and then squeeze)
12. Toes:
a. Open all the channels between the toe bones, from the ankle to the toes.
b. With each toe, individually separate the tissue and bones.
c. Flex each toe.
d. Give lateral pressure all around each toe. (Pinch from the sides)
e. Liberate the ball of each toe.
f. With the fingers in between the toes, grab the foot and flex.
g. Wring out the toes individually, then all together.
