1.

Draw a repeating pattern of a small

circle and then three vertical lines to
create the base of the doodle.

2. Connect the circles with diagonal lines.

3. Add more circles at the point where
the diagonal lines meet.
4. Connect the new circles by adding a
second set of diagonal lines.
5. On top of each circle on the base line,
add a vertical line with a small circle. It
looks like a small flower has grown.
6. Continue adding lines and circles so it
appears that flowers are sprouting up
from the base.

Draw an angled rectangle off the

horizontal line to provide the
foundation for the doodle.

2. Add a striped border to the end of the

rectangle.
3. Inside the rectangle, draw three lines
with circles at the end.
4. Add a few triangles to the end of the
rectangle .
5. Draw the petals of the flower. Add as
many or as few as desired.
6. Add in the finishing details. Add leaves
and more lines for definition.

1.

Draw three circular sections. It almost

looks like a small rainbow.

2.

Start adding lines and dots to

each layer.

3. Continue the pattern all the way down

the circle, shading in the top layer to
create the blocked effect.

Draw one circular section and add lines

and shading to block out a
striped pattern.

2. Add the second circular section with a

dot pattern in it.
3. Add the third circular section with the
line pattern within it.
Now you know two different ways to draw
the same technique.

1.

Draw a half circle off of the

horizontal base line. Draw a second
half circle surrounding the first to create a circular section. Add lines to that
section.

2. Add triangles all the way around the

edge of the outer half circle.
3. Inside the inner circle, add vertical lines
with circles on top.
4. Draw the petal shapes blooming out
from the triangles. Also sketch the
curved line for the leaf.
5. Draw out the rest of the leaves and add
some more lines to finish the details.

1.

Draw a swirled line that connects down

to the horizontal base line.

2. Draw two vertical lines that connect

from the base line up to the curve of
the swirl.
3. Along the outer edge of the swirl, add
lines that vary in length.
4. Add small circles to the end of those
outer lines.

Draw small curved humps jumping

along the horizontal base.

2. Add vertical lines coming up from

each point.
3. Connect the top of each vertical line
with more curved lines.
4. Draw vertical lines within each
curved shape.
5. Add small circles at each low point.
6. Add another layer of curved humps, as
well as vertical lines and circles to make
the doodle more complex.

1.

Draw a wavy line floating above the

horizontal base line.

2. Draw a second wavy line a little above

the first.
3. Connect the two wavy lines with a
pattern of vertical lines.
4. Add another wavy line on top.
5. Add vertical lines with circles on top,
almost like little flowers.

Draw a few curved hills to create the

bottom layer of the doodle.

2. Add another layer of curved lines on top.

3. Add a small circle at the point of each hill.
4. Repeat steps 1-3. Stagger the lines so
they sit between the first layer of hills,
creating a new layer.
5. Create diamond shapes by adding
more curved lines connecting the top
of the hills.
6. Add a second curved line to finish the
diamond shape. Then add three vertical
lines in each shape for added detail.
7. Continue adding vertical lines in each
shape and small circles at the points to
add complexity to the design.
