We invite young talents to participate in the the Fourth International Contest
performers (under 20 ) of classical music among the countries of the Islamic World.

1. Finding out young talents.
2. International experience and exchange of ideas.
3. Identifying ways of creativity.
4. To create a comprehensive idea about the Azerbaijani culture and art in youth and adults
from foreign countries.

II. The founder and organizer of the contest:

III.Date and venue:

Date: Baku, April 13-15, 2015. (The participients must be in Baku in the 13th of April, 2015)
Venue: Azerbaijan National Art Museum.
The Organizing Committee is created by the founder to organize and hold the contest.
Organizing Committee starts its work on February 23, 2015.
1 day before the date of start of the contest, the participants are expected to attend. The process
can be discussed on an individual basis who wants to participate in the contest individually.
IV.Requirements from the participants:
Young instrumental musicians under the age 20 can participate in the contest . Each performer
whose application has been accepted can participate in the listenings only in the appointed date
and time
Age groups:
Junior Group - 15 years.
Senior group - 15-20 years.
The volume of the music for junior group is about 10 minutes, and 15 minutes is recommended
for senior group.
Participants must comply with the regulations.
Polyphonic works, classical world music and works of the Azerbaijani composers must be
entered the program.
Performers from junior group who plays string instruments must add Azerbaijani composers
works to their repertuire beside 2 music samples of different nature.
Note for participants:
Participants of the contest have to perform only with their own musical instruments. When
needed the organizing committee is ready to offer notes of Azerbaijani composers. Participant
must perform only the play ordered in the application. Any change of the program can take place
with the agreement of all the members of the jury. The usage of a phonogram is not allowed. (

VI.Rewards :
The jury who will be present in the determination and presentation of awards will consist of
artists from Azerbaijan and other foreign countries.
The distribution of places among the awarded participants will be based on points accumulated
throughout the program in protocols signed by the jury.
Scoring will be in accordance with the criteria recommended throughout the festival, each
member of the jury has the right to give maximum 10 points.
The assessment will be carried out separately for each age group in accordance with
performances.
In all stages of the jury's decision is not discussed
Jury of the contest determines following awards:
Grand Prix (prize money).
1, 2, 3 grade winners (both age groups).
For successful participation in the contest
Evaluation criteria:
-

Performing skills (voice, technique, rhythm, instrument handling, performance, dynamics);

Repertoire complexity;

Performing culture (the culture of clothing and playing)

VII. Rules of contest:

The contest will be held in one round. All the participants submitting to applications will present
the performance to the attention of jury. Finalists collecting high points will have the right to
compete for the main prize at the Gala concert. Participants who can not be finalist can
participate with a free sample at the Gala concert .
VIII. Funding rules:
The expenditure budget of the Fourth International Contest of young performers (under 20 ) of
classical music among the Countries of the Islamic World is formed by approved cost estimate of
the organizing committee. In the financing of the project, along with government agencies,
commercial organizations, public associations, charitable organizations, can participate as well
as business people. The Organizing Committee of the contest guarantees to sponsors and
partners of the event to illuminate the placement of all forms of information of advertising.
Sponsors and partners are able to establish personal nominations for their awards.

For artistic skill;

For the prespective of talent and creativity;

Closing his birthday on the eve of the contest, and so on.

The organizing committee can only assume the costs of hotels and meals.
Transport expenses must be cost due to the sender .
The 6 x 12 photo-image, identity card or copy of birth certificate must be presented to the
Organizing Committee. These documents are acceptable in any form (fax, email, mail) to the
organizing committee till March 26, 2015 .
