Prepositions for describing the position of people/ things in the photos.
Sample of photo 1 (Part 2) in padlet
In the picture, I can see two boys walking along a dirt road in the rain. It seems to be a rural
area, somewhere in Asia perhaps as there is ..I think a paddy field in the background. The
boys are dressed in school uniforms and are carrying backpacks so they must be on their
way to school or they could be on their way back from school. They look alike so they..Im
guessing..theyre brothers. The boy on the left is holding a big banana leaf over his head and
his little brothers head and is using it as an umbrella to protect them from the rain. The two
boys both seem very happy and are clearly enjoying themselves despite the heavy rain and
are having fun on their way to school.
Sample of photo 2 ( Part 2) in padlet
The picture shows a group of people sitting and watching something. I think they are
watching a football match on a screen as they all seem to be looking up at the same thing
and some of them appear to be wearing the same team shirts. Theyre watching a sport
anywayand the picture seems to capture a tense moment in the match as the woman in
the foreground looks very anxious. Her hands are on her face and she looks like she is
desperately hoping for a goal. In the background, we can see another woman on the right
who also seems very nervous and is holding her hands in the same position as the woman in
the foreground. Im guessing they must be supporting the losing team.
