Urban Art Festival

The Urban Art Festival has been held every year, since 2012 in the Lambayeque Region, which
with hard work and dedication has managed to put up this event, in order to provide a special
space to new artistic trends and new talents in the region.
The Urban Arts Festival are FREE events and benefits the community in Lambayeque Region,
with Chicalyo, Monsefu, Ciudad Eten, Lambayeque.
The festival draws over 1,000 in attendance annually and showcases hundreds of artists,
performers, and musicians.
At the festival, people watch different art events. There are also parades, artists, music, dance
performance, and skateboarding displays.
In 2015 it was realized in the fifth edition on August 2th at Monsefu Main Park.
The Urban Arts Festival Experience 2015
Dance performances from top urban dance groups featuring break dancing battles and
showcases throunhout the day.
Music of differents groups featuring hip-hop, rock, festejo, marinera, huayno,
Skate boarding demonstrations, workshops and competetions for all ages and skill levels.
Live painting demonstrations from top mural and Street artist as wll as a community Wall for
everyone to paint on.
This festival is unique to the city as it provides the best opportuniity for Urban Artistis to be
showcased and celebrated for the positive cultural impact they hace on the society.

Cada ao se viene realizando el festival de arte urbano, desde el 2012 en la regin

Lambayeque, el cual con mucho esfuerzo y dedicacin ha logrado poner en pie este evento,
con la finalidad de otorgar un espacio especial a las nuevas tendencias artsticas y los nuevos
talentos de la regin.
Se viene desarrollando de un modo de arte urbano mediante el uso de diversas tcnicas como
msica, murales y grafiti, malabarismo, teatro, piromanismo, danzas, deportes extremos, break
dance entre las ms importantes, en una nueva forma de comunicacin y opinin social.

Este evento se ha realizado en distintas ciudades de la Regin de Lambayeque como, en

Chiclayo, Monsefu, Ciudad Eten, y Lambayeque, para que as los pueblos en su conjunto
disfruten de estas diversidades artsticas, esto ha hecho posible que el pblico sepa apreciar el
arte muralista y el esfuerzo que implica realizarlo al aire libre.

Este ao se realiz el 2 de agosto , en el parque de Monsef, logro atraer un buen pblico de

aproximadamente 1000 personas que disfrutaron de este espectculo, donde se pudo a
preciar a grafiteros, mimos, contorsionistas, malabaristas, un poco de danzas urbanas, teatro,
bodypainting, deportes extremos, agrupaciones de hip hop, bandas de rock, etc.
