After the 10:00 Mass
We invite all parishioners to bring their home statue of Mary to the 10:00
Mass. Fr. Peter will bless the statues and we will process into the Parish
Life Center for the Litany of Mary. We especially ask for the First Commu-
nicants and Confirmadi to attend.
This is a tradition to honor Mary as the Mother of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our 50th Anniversary Committee is currently working on a year book as we continue to celebrate our Jubilee Year. This
book will contain pictures from the past 50 years along with pictures of our celebrations from August 31, 2009 through
June 6, 2010. Within this memory book we will publish ads from parishioners, businesses and friends of Christ the King
Parish, and would like to include your messages and prayers within this book.
To be included in the Jubilee Memory Book, please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and return to Eileen Maggiore
at the church rectory by June 1, 2010. You may also submit your request for an ad by enclosing your check or cash in
an envelope and putting it in the collection basket any weekend prior to June 1st. (Costs for the ads are shown below.)
The ads, themselves, should be submitted through electronic copy to eileen@ctklombard.org.
If you need suggestions or formats for completing your ads, please call 630-396-6076, or visit our website at
www.ctklombard.org. Thank you for your continued support of Christ the King Parish. Sue Wick

Mass Intentions
If you wish to have the intention of the Holy Mass in the name of your loved one, please fill out the envelopes in church,
or contact the rectory. We are limited to only one intention per Mass. Currently, the 2010 book is almost full, and we
have now opened the 2011 book.
Please note that, due to high volume of requests for Mass intentions here at Christ the King, there is a limit of three in-
tention requests per quarter per person. This is to ensure the availability to our parishioners. Also, although 2010 dates
have already been reserved, Mass intentions can be sent to the diocese for retired priests and religious order priests to
celebrate the Mass. Contact the rectory for more information.
