Standard fitting, short-sleeved pullover with intarsia Seattle skyline motif on front.
1) Work with 2 strands of a color held tog throughout.
2) When changing colors, carry yarn not in use
loosely across back of work, twisting yarns to
prevent holes in work. When there are large
areas of color A between the buildings, use bobbins to avoid long floats.
3) The number of stitches on front and back differ
due to the different gauges. Because intarsia
motif at the top of the front is minimal, the front
will be wider than the back at the shoulders.
Stitches are decreased while binding off the front
shoulders so that the number of stitches match
for seaming. The back neck width is smaller than
the front neck.
NOTES

BACK

With 2 strands A held tog, cast on 88 (95, 102, 110)

sts. Work in St st until same length as front to
sleeves.
Cast on sts for sleeves as for front120 (127, 136,
144) sts.
Work even until piece measures 22 (22, 23,
24)"/56 (57, 60, 61)cm from beg.
Next row (RS) Work 53 (56, 60, 64) sts, join 2nd 2
strands of yarn and bind off center 14 (15, 16, 16)
sts, work to end.
Working both sides at once, bind off from each
neck edge 3 sts twice.
Bind off rem 47 (50, 54, 58) sts each side for
shoulders.

One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles

Size E (3.5mm) crochet hook

FRONT

FINISHING

With 2 strands B, cast on 120 (130, 140, 150) sts.

Beg with chart row 4 (1, 1, 1) and beg and end as
indicated, work in St st and chart pat until piece
measures 14 (14, 14, 14)"/33 (33, 34, 34)cm
from beg.

Lightly block pieces to measurements. Join shoulders. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Sized for Small, Medium, Large and X-Large

and shown in size Small.

Sleeves

With 2 strands A, cast on 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows,

3 sts at beg of next 4 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 4
rows, 1 st at beg of next 4 (4, 6, 6) rows152 (162,
174, 184 sts).
Work even until piece measures 18 (19, 20,
20)"/47 (48, 51, 52)cm from beg.

Next row (RS) Work 67 (72, 77, 82) sts, join 2nd 2
strands of yarn and bind off center 18 (18, 20, 20)
sts, work to end.
Working both sides at once, bind off 2 sts from each
neck edge 6 times, then dec 1 st at each neck edge
every other row 5 times50 (55, 60, 65) sts each
side.
Work even until piece measures 23 (23, 24,
25)"/58.5 (59.5, 62.5, 63.5)cm from beg.
Bind off sts each side as foll: [bind off 14 (8, 7, 7)
sts, k2tog and pass 2nd st on RH needle over first st
to bind off] 3 (5, 6, 7) times, bind off rem sts47
(50, 54, 58) sts to match back shoulder sts.
Neck shaping

With RS facing, crochet hook and 2 strands A, beg

at left shoulder seam, work a row of sl st around
neck edge, working 1 st in from edge and skipping
sts as needed to make smooth line and pull in neck
to desired width.
Lower edging
With RS facing, crochet hook and 2 strands A, beg
at left side seam, work a row of sl st across lower
edge of back. Work in same way with B across
lower edge of front. O
