IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Virgin Atlantic has confirmed their flying program is returning to schedule. A small number of their flights
may have a delay as they reposition aircraft and crews. Virgin Atlantic have to be cautious as they don’t
know if UK airspace will close again but for the moment they are taking full advantage of the opportunity
presented to us.
Virgin Holidays would like to assure our customers that we are working round the clock with Virgin
Atlantic on their recovery strategy, to bring customers back to their country of residence and will update
you as soon as possible. Please do not go to the airport in the hope of getting on a plane without a
confirmed reservation or by REQUEST from your local rep, in person or via message system. Please do
not arrive at the terminal until your requested time, Passengers wishing to rebook a confirmed flight (Next
Available was May 2 at 945pm last night, Should contact Virgin Atlantic Airline (PHONE ONLY) you will
not be removed from the stand-by list if you rebook. Airports are very busy after this unprecedented
disruption of air travel and any spare seats have already been allocated to customers with serious
medical conditions and other special needs circumstances. As of Saturday 04/24/2010 we are
requesting the following Passengers to report to the airport to start the stand by process, this does not
mean you are confirmed for a flight, this means we are working hard to get every passenger scheduled to
fly on the original departure depart date. Once again this is for the passengers’ who hold a ticket/
reference number verifying the 15TH- 17thdeparture.
Please stay put housed at your hotels or temporary accommodation and we will issue further information
in due course.
We offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment this situation has caused, we
welcome the opening of UK Airspace and are delighted that airlines can take to the skies once again to
serve our customers and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
