GYANODAYA AT ADITYA BIRLA GROUP

offer distinctive customer solutions. Its 74 state-of-the-art manufacturing units and
sectoral services span India, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Egypt,
Canada, Australia and China.
Gyanodaya
Gynanodaya is the ABG groups institute of management learning center in Navi
Mumbai, is one such effort in spreading the light of knowledge by sharpening the
groups competitive edge.
Learning at Gyanodaya
At Gyanodaya learning happens in two ways
1) G-learning which takes place at Gyanodaya.
2) E-learning where learning is just a click away.
Training programme are classified as:- tier programme-need analysis at different
levels in the group and in different functions like O/S leadership, emerging leadership
and young leaders etc
1. Functional Programme- to develop skills in sales and marketing, supply chain,
manufacturing and finance.
2. Role- specific programmes aimed at developing skills for specific assignment
such as unit heads, function and department heads.
3. Competency-based programmes which focus on building individual skills and
enhancing personal and team effectiveness.
4. Business-focused programmes, outreach programmes

A chat-based virtual class gives the learner an opportunity to interact with experts
and share experience with colleagues while online database. The virtual campus
offers 136 courses
Group management trainee scheme
The programme focuses on sharpening already fine skills by taking the trainees
through a systematic process of learning and development. GMTS get the
opportunity to experience the practical aspects of the organization diverse
businesses. At each stage of training a mentor is assigned to GMT the mentor has
to interact with the GMT on regular basis. Mentor act as a friend, guide and
supports and guide for overall development of trainee.
