Deadline of Submission of Entries: August 3, 2015
Judging of Entries: August 4, 2015
1. Participants: The contest is open to all bonafide students of Batangas State University.
2. The contest shall be conducted in the following manner:
2.1. Students may submit up to three designs and must complete a separate entry form for
each design. The design should revolve around Gender and Development Concept,
Issues or Concerns or its specifics.
2.2. Entry designs must be submitted as JPEG or PDF files not to exceed 5mb in size. All
graphics should be designed for a single-sided, centered screen-printed placement.
2.3. By participating in the contest, the contestants warrant that each entry submitted is
their original and does not infringe on another contestants or persons rights.
2.4. Designs that are considered offensive or defamatory or in violation of any persons
right to privacy or other personal rights will be disqualified. Entries that are
incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Entries should
not include: (a) profanity, nudity or material deemed inappropriate or offensive to the
judges; (b) false or defamatory statements about any person or any third party; (c)
third party trademarks which suggest affiliation with any trademark owner without
permission of such owner or that dilute the value of any trademark; (d) obscene,
indecent, violent, sexually explicit, abusive, discriminatory, racially inflammatory or
other morally or legally objectionable depictions of material, in the opinion of the
judges or the University. If an entry includes any of the prohibited elements listed
above, the entry will be disqualified, along with the contestant who submitted it.
Entry should not have earned a prize in a previous contest or competition.
2.5. Participants will sign a waiver certifying the originality of the design. It shall also
stipulate that the design shall become the property of Batangas State University. By
participating in this contest, the artist grants the University the right without the need
of payment other than the prize which may have been awarded: to publish from time
to time at its discretion; to edit the work or any portion thereof suitable for posting,
printing or publication; and/or to make the works available on the internet or other
electronic media. Upon submission, the artist agrees to forfeit any ownership and is
prohibited from the independent reproduction or sale of any images.
2.6. All entry designs will be screened. Only those designs which have complied with the
rules and have met the guidelines and specifications will be entered in the
competition.

3. The entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

The judges decision is final and irrevocable.


4. There will be three winners in the contest. Medals and certificates of recognition will
be awarded to first, second, and third place winners. Certificates of participation will
be presented to contestants.
