Costume Contests
The 2015 Adult Costume Contest will be a multimedia stage production in the Bartle Hall Grand
Ballroom. There will be seating for approximately
2,800 audience members, full sound and lighting,
and two high-definition video screens on either side
of the stage.
Pre-judging will take place on the Third Floor Mezzanine outside the Great Hall. You must go through

show. During pre-judging, the Judges will select up

before the audience. Results of the pre-judging will

The Fashion Show Semi-Finalists will be invited to
walk the stage during the Fashion Show. This will
be a rapid-fire catwalk exhibition with house music
provided by our Sound Coordinator. Five Honorable
Mention Awards will be awarded during the line-up
prior to the Fashion Show.
Categories
Re-Creation A costume copied from a pre-existing
design, such as from a movie, comic book, famous
artwork, etc. If your costume is a re-creation, we
suggest providing the judges with one or more reference images of what it is based on, since not all of
them may be familiar with your costume.
OriginalA design original to the maker/wearer. It
may be inspired by some work of fantasy, science
fiction, mythology, etc., but is not a copy.
Prizes
Winners of the Adult Finalists will receive cash prizes. Winners of the Kids Costume Contest will win
