School Christmas Cards

Our school Christmas card projects are helping schools raise
thousands of pounds throughout the UK. The benefits of our
Christmas card project include
Our service lets your children design their own Christmas cards
and have them professionally printed.
Your School/PTA gets to raise much needed funds as part of a fun
project
There are no hidden costs and payment is made AFTER you have
collected money from parents - so it is ZERO risk.
No minimum order quantity and no obligation for parents to
purchase cards
Delivery of cards is free of charge

How does it work?

There are no minimum order quantities, no obligation to purchase and
no financial risk.
We know how busy you are so we have designed the process to be as
quick and easy to administer as possible. The process can be divided
into a few simple steps
1. You have your children design their cards on our supplied drawing
templates. These templates are supplied FREE of charge, A5 size
and the name and class of the child are to be recorded on their
reverse.
2. Once the children have completed their designs you need to send
them to us by post along with some information to enable us to
produce personalised order forms for your school. One for each
child, which shows their name, class and our scan of their drawing.
It takes us around 1 week to produce the order forms from your
supplied drawings and post them back to you.
3. You then distribute the order forms to parents. Parents send back
completed order forms along with payment to the school/PTA. You
collect the order forms from parents before placing a single order
with us. You can either place the parents orders online or post the
paper order forms back to us for processing.
4. Once we have received your order (either online or by post) we will
print all of your ordered products and despatch them to you after
around two weeks along with our invoice.

How long
1. Scanning artwork
Once each child has created their fabulous design you will
need to post them back to us so that we can scan the drawings
into our systems and record the childrens names.
It is your choice which service you use to send the drawings back
to us, but whether Royal Mail or courier please allow a day or
two for the package to arrive at our offices.
Upon arrival your package will be scanned into our system and
an email sent to you confirming its arrival. So no matter how
you send your drawings you will receive confirmation of their
arrival by email.
Once your drawings have been received it takes us UP TO 7
WORKING DAYS to scan your drawings, record the childrens
names and print your personalised order forms.
Your order forms will then be sent out either Royal Mail or
Courier (depending upon weight) so please allow an additional
1-2 days for your package to arrive.

2. Printing your order
You can either send your paper order forms back to us for
processing or enter your order online.
If you send your paper order forms back to us then it is your choice
which service you us, but whether Royal Mail or courier please
allow a day or two for the package to arrive at our offices.
If you are ordering online then you will be able to place multiple
orders UNTIL your project is LOCKED for printing. After your
project has been locked, you will not be able to place any further
orders.
You can choose to LOCK your own project via your online
administration panel (to notify us that you have finished placing
orders) alternatively we will automatically lock your project after
2-3 days of your LAST order being placed.
Placing a series of regular small orders WILL delay the arrival of
your items as the project will remain unlocked for longer.
It then takes UP TO 2 WEEKS from the date of your last order
to print your order ready for despatch. All orders are sent by
courier and require a signature upon delivery. Please allow an
additional 1-2 days for your packages to arrive.

Come in packs of 12 cards, A6 (148mm x 105mm) size when

folded and printed on a quality, rigid, coated, white board with
12 white envelopes
Feature each childs artwork on the front of the cards. The
reverse of the card can be printed with their name, class and
school name. You can also include your school logo on the reverse,
FREE of charge
Christmas cards come with a choice of internal greeting, either
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Seasons Greetings,
Blank or printed with a custom greeting
Thank you cards come printed inside with Thank You
All cards come packaged in 12s in cellophane bags for simple
distribution in school

We dont JUST print cards...

Gift Tags
Our self adhesive gift tags (38mm x 99mm) come in packs of 42 tags.
Your childs design is printed on the tag, together with their name. A
great, low cost option for parents.

Value Packs
Our value packs are a very popular option with parents. A value pack
consists of one pack of 12 Christmas cards, one pack of 12 Thank you
cards and a set of self adhesive gift tags.

Printed Mugs
A very popular option since their introduction to our range in 2014. We
offer a choice of three different mug designs all of which incorporate the
childs design, name, school name and the year.
Mugs make a perfect gift for friends and family (grandparents love
them) and a unique keepsake that you use every day.

IMPORTANT DATES 2016

You are free to run your project on whatever timescales you
like (subject to our turnaround times on page 4-5) but we do
have some deadline dates to ensure we can get everyones items
printed and delivered in time for Christmas!

Early order deadline

7th November 2016
*All orders to reach us on or before 7th November 2016 to qualify for early bird prices.

All artwork to be returned by

9th November 2016
We may refuse to scan any drawings if returned after 9th November, if we do accept drawings
after this date then their will be a late artwork scanning charge of 45 (inc VAT)

Last order deadline

2nd December 2016
*Final date for all orders to be processed for despatch before the end of term. We will cease to
accept orders received after this date.

2016 Prices
We offer a significant discount to schools and PTAs that want to run
their Christmas card project earlier. This helps smooth our production
times, improve our turnaround times and will make bigger profits for
your PTA.
REMEMBER THESE ARE THE PRICES WE CHARGE YOU.

Hand Scanning Explained

All drawings supplied to us are scanned into our systems using either
our automatic feeder or by hand. If the childs design is created using
felt tip pens or colouring pencils then it can be safely scanned using
our automatic feeder. However some childrens designs contain paint,
pastels or collages and these require scanning by hand on the glass of
the scanner. In these instances additional charges will apply depending
on how many designs require this hand scanning.

What counts as hand scanning?

If a drawing contains any of the following then it is classified as
requiring hand scanning
Paint (water based or oil based)
Collages (this includes anything which is glued or
stuck onto the drawing)
Pastels
Charcoal

How much will I be charged for hand scanning?

If you have more than 60 drawings that require hand scanning then
an additional charge of 30 (inc VAT) will be added to your final
invoice. Why 60 drawings? We allow a certain number of hand
scanning drawings free of charge because we know it can be difficult
for nursery or reception children to create designs without these
materials. Our pricing is designed to encourage all ages to participate
in our project without penalty.
