numbering as well as page number)

Introduction (A brief description of the company and the issues

of ISs chosen e.g. : Background of company, the department or
working process of company/product or brand that the company
produced, the issues of ISs related)

Brief Summary of the chosen topic (You may break into sub
sections)

The implementation of any ISs issues in the

company/organization

Why you choose the company/organization and

the issues of ISs?

How you plan to get the data and information regarding

the company/organization and the issues of ISs related? (You
can google, or go to the website of company or through reading
sources for e.g. : Journal, Handbook or brochure)

Draft of subtopic. (Any draft of topic related)

IMPORTANT: Refer to evaluation form for the evaluation criteria used

by lecturer for report evaluation.

Proposal Format:
Use the provided Report Cover template. Fill in the necessary
information.
Use MS WORD to prepare the report.
Report format and specification:
o Margin : Left - 1.5 inch Right/Top/Bottom - 1.0 inch
o Header : DCS5148 Introduction to Information Systems (center),
10pt
o Footer : Page Number (center), 10pt
o Font : Times New Roman, 12pt, Black
o Paragraph Alignment and Spacing : Justify and 1.5

Minimum number of pages for the PROPOSAL is TWO (including cover

page).

Attach Assignment Evaluation form together with the proposal.

Submit the proposal (NO NEED comb binding) before 5pm 4/12/2015
(Friday week 3).

You are not allowed to copy any part of your lecture slides (serve as a
reference only). The work must be entirely your own. Plagiarism will
result in a mark of zero for the assignment.

PowerPoint Guidelines

Your groups PowerPoint presentation should comply with the following:

o You may pick the most important part/relevant part of your
report and present in a creative manner using Microsoft
PowerPoint/Prezi etc.
o Minimum number of slides for the presentation is FIVE slides (if
each of criteria in main content place in separate slide)

Upload the PowerPoint or the presentation to www.blendspace.com

before your presentation session (Week 12 14).
First, one of the groups member need to sign up
Once register, log in; click new lesson to do the following task:
o At Enter the lesson title : Company name and product/service
name
o At 1st box :
Enter label section - Group Members
Add Text Icon - Group Members ID and Name
o At 2nd box : Upload your PowerPoint (by dragging the file to the
box)

Email link from Blendspace using Email Subject DCS5148 Assignment to

your respective lecturers email address.
