Can I Trust the Bible?

If you want to know more about the Bible then one of the most important
questions to answer would be, Is the Bible true? Is it really what it claims to
be?
If the 66 books of the Bible are in perfect harmony, without error or
contradictions, then considering its teaching becomes logical and reasonable.
Consider what the Bible teaches about itself

The Bible Says It Is True

John 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

The Bible Says Holy Men Wrote What God Wanted

2Pet 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men
of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible Claims to Come Directly From God

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
The word inspiration means God-breathed.
The Bible claims to be Gods breath, as He speaks each and every word.

Just because the Bible claims that God spoke does not guarantee anything. But IF
proof is available to show the Bible is truly Gods words, then we should stop and
give serious consideration. You owe it to yourself to check the Bible out.

Who Wrote the Bible

Thus saith the Lord or its equivalent is found more than 600 times in the Old
Testament alone!
So the Bible claims to be the very words of God Himself, written through the
instruments of men chosen by God.
IF this is true, then we would expect this book to be very different than all the
other books of men and even different than the books of religions.
How could we judge this? Is this book consistent, without errors and reliable?
Lets take a look. The Bible is written
inThree languages-Hebrew Aramaic & Greek
onThree continents- Asia, Africa, Europe
by 40 authors
over 1600 years in the writing.
Yet all 66 books in the Bible perfectly harmonize with each other, perfectly agree
and have NO mistakes!

Now imagine going through all the books in the world ever written to choose 66

Choose those written in 3 different languages, on 3 different continents, by 40

different authors who lived over a period of 1600 years. AND even after all of
thatthe books perfectly harmonize with the others, perfectly agree and have NO
disagreements!
Would those 66 books be in agreement? I would say that is impossible for a man
to do!! Even one man has a hard time writing 66 books and not contradicting
himself.

If that is not enoughconsider the occupations of the writers of the

Bible.
Some were kings, some were fishermen, some were tax collectors, some
shepherds, some were prophets, and even one was a physician.
With that much diversity in education and life experience, how could they write
and not have multiple disagreements?
Yet the Bible is in perfect harmony on issues of religion, psychology, science,
medicine, history and geography.
Though they wrote at different periods of world history, their writings fit
together with one another, and display perfect harmony on all subjects.

The Bible clearly claims that it is of Divine origin.

Disagreements on its pages and among its authors would certainly show us that
the claim of Divine origin is false!
However, just the opposite is true! The Bible perfectly fits together as if ONE
person wrote it.
