Computer networks have had a significant evolution since its birth in the early 50s. Everyday that
passes networks become more efficient and the communications means both wired and wireless.
Unlike networks in antiquity, modern networks can work with problems for example if a network

today's networks that provide much more security than the old networks.
As I said earlier one of the advantages of networks today is the evolution of the medium through
which information passes. With the invention of the optical fiber, the speed and capacity of optical

can be sent, and helps enable data rates up to billions of bits per second. But this does not stop
